You don't have enough VRAM for ultra settings. An RTX 2050 with only 4GB of VRAM can't handle epic settings.

I would recommend mostly medium settings
-view distance: high, maybe could get away with ultra in sandbox
-anti aliasing: med or high
-post processing: high
-shadows: med
-textures: high, ultra makes such a small difference but a huge jump in vram use
-effects: high
-foliage: med
-global illumination method: even with a raytracing gpu I would recommend screen space. Raytracing takes slightly more VRAM
-depth of field: turn off for performance and gameplay, turn on if making videos and taking photos
-motion blur: same thing
-heat distortion: same thing
-volumetrics: this effects how smoke and similar effects are rendered and interact with the environment but is heavy on the gpu, and I would recommend turn it off
-virtual shadow maps: I haven't noticed any effects of this with quality, but turning it off improves performance by a lot
-show character fur: fur rendering is taxing on the gpu, so choose the setting you want, but it may heavily impact your performance
Thanks bro

"Honoes ! Someone dare voicing critics toward my dream game ! Quick, silence him !!!
Heretics shall be purged !"
Whatever it takes to get them to realize that you don't have to argue with every single person that says they enjoy the game and consider it the best of what they've experienced in their own opinion thus far. It isn't all "dick riding" or whatever they wanna call it, some people genuinely have never experienced this level of quality in a pornish game elsewhere and that's perfectly alright.

I do understand how they feel though, why should other people be happy when I'm miserable?

God knows my own obsession has been in overdrive trying to find the perfect picture of Steve to print onto a body pillow and I've certainly done my best to ruin others happiness in the process of my great quest.

Why just the other day on my quest I was met with extreme hostility when I tried to get the picture attached to said pillow. After I made my request and started going back and forth with the employee, they got their manager involved and told me I had to leave. When I asked for the reason, they said "sir, this is a Wendy's".

Whatever the hell that means.

This looks so good, too bad the sandbox is held captive by ICCCH_HOW the non-porn guy normie.

Wild Life Character Modelers and animators = A+, because Adeptus Steve guides them with his expertise.

Wild Life Unreal Engine Devs = F-, these guys couldn't program their way out of a paper bag; translation: the blurry texture problem is the paper bag, and they can't even figure out simple shit like UE's idiot proof navmesh system. These guys can't even figure out how to make furniture the god damn NPC can sit on, lol.

I truly believe the developers of Wild Life are taking advantage of Adeptus Steve in some way, maybe manipulating and BS'ing him.

I just want thinner eyebrows.
If the game was open source, this would be extremely easy to add. Sure they can easily do it themselves, but ICCCH_HOW wastes his time on stupid features that only 1% of end users would actually use, the rest of us are just waiting for basic features so we can jack off.

I have exactly the same problems on the r7 5700x, 4070 and 32GB of RAM, despite the fact that the GPU memory is not used by 50%. There are just problems with texture streaming, and it seems to be fixed in the early stages of development.

I don't understand the game development vector at all. You add new animations, useless characters on the same base, and clothes. The map is still a collection of placeholders, the plot consists of a couple of quests that are completely uninteresting to go through, it's just running from point a to point b, there is no interaction with the world. Maybe you'll just make a photo booth instead of a game? Because this is the only task the build copes with, and keeps the players active AdeptusSteve

Yeah, be happy you are being scammed, because that's how healthy/normal people think when they are being scammed. You are definitely not a miserable bootlicking person at all.

Is there any 3D game developer that people won't complain? Lol...

If everybody is bad, then how can we compare them?

Won't complain, never ever? No, it is really impossible.
But some get significantly less complaints compared to other developers, a lot of them are out there.
Illusion, KISS, Mogurasoft, miconisomi, TeamKRAMA, Poolside Games, Viktor Black...
These are just 3d developer examples that I remember right now. All of these developers also incorporated gameplay mechanics in their games no matter how little so all of them are objectively better at being a game compared to patreon scams such as WL and FD. Also, if I was to include 2d game developers that example list would be a lot longer.

how can we compare them?
Are they also stuck in patreon because of "development roadblocks" for 7+ years all the while claiming to be an open world rpg while not containing any rpg or other gameplay elements at all? This is how you compare them to WL.

Carnal Instinct. Yes, they also cut out a lot when switching to UE 5, but it's still a game, with a WORKING RPG system, action, cutscenes, plot and even dungeons. And if I'm not mistaken, it's been in development for 3 years. I don't really like their visual style, but it's a matter of taste, I'm talking specifically about the competence of the developers

CI has the gameplay and world a lot more fleshed out but it's lacking everything WL does well. Character customization is mediocre to say the least, there's not that many animations, and the system for viewing animations is really bad.

That was a hell of a long post to end up failing to highlight whatever point you're trying to make.

FWIW Carnal Instinct has complainers as well, a good amount of them sharing similar comments to the ones you see here in the WL thread. Visit Carnal Instinct's F95 thread if you haven't already. Regardless of what developers are doing, there will always be those that aren't pleased and feel the need to make sure others are aware and are equally miserable.

However, CL is a game, and it's already pretty clear what it will be like on release. Absolutely nothing is unclear about WL, not even a concept is emerging yet. This is exactly what is just a collection of assets and tools for them.
I just want to understand in which direction the developers are developing their project, but it seems to me that they themselves no longer understand. Or they realize that they are not coping with the development, and imitate some kind of activity. Why don't they hire a coder to fix basic things for them?
I like this project, I like how some things are implemented, I'm not a hater or a whiner, but from build to build I only see how three new placeholders were added to the map, new "characters" and clothes to them. It feels like the development of this game is in chaos. A lot of assets, animations, models are being made, but the basis, the concept on which all these things are planted is missing

Because they started to develop the game from the right end. It's much easier to add customization, new animations and models than to try to assemble a bunch of ready-made parts into something meaningful. It seems to me that the story of Yandere-dev has found a continuation in this project

CI also got characters and scenes I'm looking forward to but if you look at THAT game and think "good gameplay" then you might as well be playing animation galleries anyway.
