Yea i'd like to know as well, because mine looks ugly compared to the pics i see here and there, I have no clue why.

a common issue I run into in sandbox mode is the the same crappy blur effects and textures
one thing that works for fixing it is to posess a camera during the play mode (clicking on a button or something to initiate that)

only by importing a custom asset and attaching it to a character's foot, there is a toe curl slider you can use to help make it fit. this is all using a custom poser of course, would not work for any existing sex scenes
So I am trying the game for first time and I want the most content for it, which version should I go for UE4 or UE5?

I hope someone will answer us. I don't understand why everyone bypasses this problem. My PC is powerful enough for all modern games. But in this completely empty game, I have a problem on a problem.
Really? Usually when a new game is ported to new engine the amount of content on the new engine is very less...
I appreciate the sandbox elements, but am I missing out on any story elements if there any present in the game?

The game is a lot more sandbox than anything right now, they're only recently starting to do testing/implementing of actual game stuff. Their main focus was on animations, models, assets etc. Because it's hard to make a game without that stuff of course...
They figured to give us the sandbox to toy around with the assets and then gave us upgrades+features for it on the side for us to have fun while they make the game.

They did have a fuller sandbox world map in the UE4 version, but they wanted to go in a different direction on that anyway so it was left behind when they changed engines. The UE4 version is no longer in development, so all of the newer sex scenes, characters, models, etc. are in the UE5 version. The only "story" elements the UE4 version had were a sort of tutorial/demo where you start at a crashed ship, visit a village, and have sex with the villagers. I haven't checked in a while but I think that part might still be included. Otherwise it's all just "mechanical" elements: sex scenes, model viewing, character customization, etc. The stated intent from the developer is to get these interactive components and tools working first and then build a story using them. I know it means long delays before there's anything narrative in the game, but this is the better way to do it, otherwise they run the risk of having woven a story/quests with the parts they previously developed and then having to change some critical underlying component and suddenly all sorts of things break and can't be fixed without basically starting over.
That all said, the sex scenes are really good, so it's fun to try it for that alone, I feel.
The story is not finished in even current available version, and to my understanding, the UE 4 versions are legacy and will no longer be updated.

I do wonder if sandbox is going to get the ''procedural content generation"-tool which they teased in the weekly update, to paint forest/flora for example. Also if we are getting proper nanite supporting trees (I believe current ones doesn't support the feature but I've no idea).
Regardless would be nice to hear from the devs what is their timeline to stabilize the current model/lod/texture bugging to lower quality issue. Are these mostly older assets which doesn't work well in the new updated engine and solved eventually with new models/textures or is this just a bug which will get fixed eventually?
The custom hud/UI elements for sandbox sounds absolutely great. I've now done this by sticking camera follower block and attached PNG on it and stick it on lower part of the screen and always follow it and when you talk to NPC it changes the PNG to proper NPC-PNG file and sets it visible and text box is following the PNG.
