"Beast in the Sun" developing by just one person and features commendable gameplay, an average storyline (which, in my opinion, is quite noteworthy for an adult game), diverse exploration across various locations, and a wide array of animations, including very good physics. Having followed the Adeptus Steve team and their work on this project for over six years, I've witnessed their impressive office space and tools.
However, I'm perplexed by the fact that the latest version of the game is replete with rudimentary placeholders and dialogs, lacks a coherent storyline or voice acting, and suffers from a dearth of engaging gameplay. The walking and combat mechanics still fall short compared to the quality of the sex animations. Consequently, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction, and I encourage other supporters to do the same.
It seems that the focus has been primarily on creating new characters, most of which the same map with only different textures. They lack personality, voice variations, or meaningful dialogs, rather than enhancing the overall gaming experience. The emphasis on creating more animations raises questions: is this a game or merely a collection of 3D animations?
I could express my frustration with more asshole way, but rest assured, it can't get any worse or more disgraceful than their inability to develop any game in more than six years.
Now I see where you're so confused on why it's taking Wild Life longer to make compared to Beasts in the Sun. BitS uses pre-made assets, it's essentially an asset flip. WL on the other hand is making most of its stuff from scratch with as few pre-made assets as possible. Hell, BitS even uses a font very similar to Elder Scrolls Online in one of the screenshots for mounting a horse.
Asset flips don't take as long to make since they cut out all the modeling and rigging of character models from development, and to make maps it's just like putting Lego pieces together, and there's even tools now that can just generate levels for you, not to mention it's very possible to just find a full pre-made world asset and edit stuff in it like textures to make it "yours".
Also, BitS was not just one person working on it, it's three people working as a team on it. As another also, it seems to be focused on a story only, which of course is going to mean
it has more story to it already. WL has a whole sandbox mode in it where you can make your own scenes and worlds to screw around in, and that was the main focus for a while, and at the start actually
did have only one person working on it, Steve, which over time grew into a team that are now working towards making WL a high quality game that will be the whole game on release instead of an episodic release like BitS is doing.
Right now, yes, WL is a collection of 3D animations, but it's not just a fucking gallery like you're trying to make it seem. And creating more animations is a bad thing when it's a dedicated group on the team who's job it is to
make the animations? Character personalities, yeah I'll give you that one, they could use a little work, but that would require extra time to work on which seems to be against you wanting the "better" game "now".
If you're sooo fucking dissatisfied, then go goon to BitS, which you seem to find oh so much better and you yourself seem to be shilling for like the disgrace that
you are.
