??? Have you taken a look at the sandbox editor? It may not be the mechanics you're looking for, but they have been putting in work into this game.

UE5 build performs worse than the UE4 build atm and there may be visual bugs, just check out the changelog if you're curious about it. All this stuff was mentioned in the patreon posts going into the UE5 build.
Actually, the characters looked way better for my PC in the 16/12 build

What I want from this game are the animations and the sandbox, so I'm getting what I want lol. People need to learn to speak for themselves. If you're feeling scammed by all means move on, I ain't.
lmao even with the 22.12.2022 Build i still get lowlevelfatal error just before loading into videos
i doubt u should say "even" because theres still a lot of work to be done.
ive continued with some sandbox stuff for about 6 hours today no crash whatsoever so its definitely way more stable.
check if ur (gpu) drivers are up to date. might help.
Anyone having trouble getting past the initial startup, best to just wait until they update U4 to the current U5 content since it seems universal that it doesn't work well and isn't running crystal smooth for anyone.
I know I'm prob in a niche here, but I do wish developers would be a bit more mindful of Dr. Mercer's max proportions when making animations. A lot of clipping in the new animations when her sliders are cranked all the way up. Still impressed by the game overall though.

just telling people to upgrade to an ssd randomly in cases when it has NOTHING to do with the issue is very annoying
hell, you don't even know if he has an HDD or not
check the game in task manager. If you see the game's memory usage still climbing, it means it's still loading and it's not actually frozen22gb of frozen loading screen

you can click on memory to filter by memory usage ascending or descending
Game launched in UE5. No crashes after trying quite a few characters and animations. But the levels are all fucked up and the character textures are weird. The lighting does look incredible... and i dont even have RTX, just a 1080ti. Ran on NVME and Ryzen 3600x with 24gb ram. Playback was 60pfs at 2k vysnc everything maxed out.
i feel bad for the devs.... so much work and now ue5 breaks so much stuff lol i really hope they either wait for epic to make the transition easier. doesnt seem like a good investment of time to go ue5 if it sets development back a ton.
the new Rawn good boy animation is a very much desirable style of content and pretty damn good execution of such.
ive never supported this dev since they always had 100k+ per MONTH since I can remember, but honestly, if this game came out on steam or some shit and had DLC's with new missions and animations and enemies etc, i would absolutely pay for that. or their website directly IDGAF about steam.
So i guess im trying to say, i really hope devs focus on rolling out a game with in game or website purchases for large gameplay experiences (no not micro transactions XD). im sure they already have a plan, i just really want to play some gameplay and mission loops instead of monthly small animation updates etc. theres already SO much content and animations. i know they have a few missions but theyre very simple and theres no NPC attack sex scenes etc, or a gameplay loop for "giving up" and experiencing all the amazing animations and characters that would satisfy that loop.
in time, i hope!
TLDR the UE5 is super broken, new animations are cool but not worth trying to make work if your PC is oldschool janktrash.

Holy shit, those 1080ti's are still capable of 2k 60fps in an unoptimised game like Wild Life IN UE5?!
FUCK man, those graphics cards were monsters!
How is this is a scam when they're delivering what people want? The usual scams involve meaningless updates without any new content but simple UI changes and such.

Or just...posting on patreon for an entire year without any actual in game updates, like Operation Lovecraft's dev team. That works too
