The animation chart shows its heavily skewed and leans heavily into male x female content. And less male x male or female x female content. I hope your referring to female x female. If not, this is another insane post added to a very insane thread.
I am.
FutaxFemale is acceptable too. The more tits and pussies on the screen, the merrier.

@OrgansMissing

I'd say for me it's less about the amount of work getting done (because game dev IS slow and difficult), and more about what is being done.

Speaking as somebody who is gay, this game most certainly does NOT focus on males. Not in the slightest.
I like male content as well and I agree however they specified in there reply that they are talking about female x female and futa which is about as lacking as male x male.

I'm just going to assume the developers know their demographic :/

Just out of curiosity...
Could they separate the sandbox mode from the main game?

Those who wanted to create their own worlds this way would use the sandbox... They would also have the opportunity to experience the story mode in the main game...

Or maybe I'm just talking nonsense...

Is this game still in alpha lol? its been like what? 10 years? Is there any worthwhile progress/content? Gonna download it and see how much it improved.

I mean yeah man. Do these supporters not have wills of their own? If they don't like the direction of it, they shouldn't donate. They should stop doing that. That might make things change. If they DON'T stop. They are co-signing the direction it's going in. That's what that means.

I'm not donating. I'm not suggesting anyone donate either. But I also recognize that that means my voice has limited importance.

Every single fucking thread on this platform you tune in and see the same fucking shit. "This update is not everything I ever asked for". All of them. I think that, MAYBE, developing things just takes more than people think it does. It's like this for most game development. No one is ever happy with the pace. Maybe people just aren't happy with how fucking long creating shit takes, huh?

10 years seems about right for a game this stupidly ambitious without a massive studio and team. Lets look up the budget of some similar games. It's honestly hard to think of any AAA ones with similar gameplay, because most big studios don't fall into this trap. Steam thinks this game is apparently similar to Mass Effect and God of War(2018), which is laughable. It's not a big grand narrative RPG. Maybe it's similar to andromeda in that it wants to be an openish world RPG? That's what andromeda is, right? Anyway $80-100m and $200m were the budgets. I could see Legend of Zelda BoW or ToK being more vaguely similar. Open world. Souls-ish combat. Additional mechanics overlaid onto that. (in our case it's porn) You talk to people. Estimated $120m and $100-$150ish is what I'm seeing. All made by massive, professional teams too.

Maybe it's more similar to something like Enshrouded? It's at least... a small studio. They both have 'explore, fight, survive' type marketing. Both are attempting to be pale imitations of souls combat. They're both perhaps-too ambitious open world games. Enshrouded is more survival, crafting, base building tho. Also more annoying to figure it's budgets out... I'm not putting much more than a few googles of effort in here... I keep seeing the number $10 million as initial budget, However. Did this game raise $10 mil? I don't think so. Kickstater says 100k was raised (which was like, half of what the goal seems to have been btw. Idk if they raised it), and patreon has... 10k members. I assume the number has been dropping? The lowest donation is 1 dollar. I don't think they're at $10 mil.

Maybe you should be more realistic about the things you get invested in.
Like, I saw 'open world, unreal engine' and I ALREADY knew to not really raise those expectations years ago. Frankly. I'm surprised it hasn't been abandoned, or acted more shady. It's also a porn game that is posted freely here. And on steam too, even, it's not even funding itself via sales! Enshrouded is selling. It's selling 4 million copies. It's selling physical merch. As it too is also still in development, I'm sure that money goes into funding that, at least in part. So factor that into budget comparisons.

So my ultimate point is... the output really isn't that ridiculous for what's going on.

... Look man. I understand WANTING this game to be more. But it chose to be more ambitious than it should have been. Despite this, unlike many games that are far too ambitious, it's still being worked on and shows it's work. It isn't doing much obfuscation. It also delivers on the most important aspect of an E-game. The E part. It's good. I'm not suggesting anyone give them money. I'm not giving them money. I'm just suggesting we all bitch less. There are far better examples of scams in this space.

I just... don't give a fuck about hearing it. I like what I'm getting each update. I don't think it's a 'scam', and it's annoying to see people whine about it like it is each time it updates. What do you think you or anyone else is accomplishing here? You're just being a bummer. If I were making this shit I'd either not pay attention to any of you, or I'd hate having to update it at all, because I know it's gonna be a bummer each time. So good luck changing it by whining about it on the pirating site where it's posted freely.

It's not exactly a big faceless mainstream corporation we're dealing with here. It's an e-game. This isn't super serious shit. At literally any moment any nations law could wipe it's viability as a product away ENTIRELY. Don't get seriously invested in it, monetarily, or emotionally. This isn't fucking star citizen. ($800 million it's raked in btw)

You can read the change logs. They're making with the porn and chipping away at the game. Consistently. That's about what you can expect. Especially if you aren't giving them any money yourself.
Honestly, it feels like you're trying to justify a scam (definition: a deliberate attempt to deceive someone for money or advantage, often through dishonest or even illegal means) simply because the scammer isn't making as much as major game studios.

Let's be clear: ten years is more than enough time to develop an open-world adult rpg, provided the effort was actually focused on that goal. Instead, much of it has been squandered on distractions such as:
  • Producing hundreds of unnecessary sex animations. Realistically, most won't even make it into the final game. Since they all rely on different systems, the developer will likely allow only a handful of progressable, controllable ones for the player, while the rest get dumped on NPCs as static filler.
  • Switching engines halfway through development.
  • Rebuilding the map over and over again.
  • Wasting time on public forums arguing with critics instead of delivering results.
  • Prioritizing a "sandbox" concept instead of core mechanics.
  • Designing countless outfits that serve no purpose because there are no gameplay systems in place that actually use them.
  • Adding modding support before core systems are in place, which almost guarantees either that most mods will break and have to be rebuilt later, or worse: mod support itself will have to be remade.
It's mistake after mistake, stacked endlessly. But at this point, I don't even see it as incompetence. It looks deliberate.

And no, I don't care about their budget. The reality is this project is either one of the most catastrophically mismanaged in gaming history, or it's the Star Citizen of adult games: a project designed to drag on forever, fueled by promises and excuses.

Whichever interpretation you prefer, the red flags are undeniable. For me, the pattern is clear: this isn't just mismanagement. It's intentional.

I mean, if Graphtreon is to be believed, then these guys are pulling in 24k - 66k per MONTH. I'm sorry but, you cannot claim it's not "super serious shit" when that adds up to a potential revenue of over half a million a year. Minimum. That's not small fry like most other 1 - 2 man teams out there barely scraping a fraction of that.

I saw 15 people in the background video on their team website.

They make between 24k and 66k per month according to that picture.
$24,000 * 12 = $288,000
$288,000 * 0.9 = $259,200 (after patreon's cut)
$259,200 * 0.81 = $209,952 (after 19% Germany tax rate patreon takes out)

$66,000 * 12 = $792,000
$792,000 * 0.9 = $712,800 (after patreon's cut)
$712,800 * 0.81 = $577,368 (after 19% Germany tax rate patreon takes out)

So they make between $210,000 and $577,000 per year, and employ at least 15 people, and it's unlikely they're all full time since there's no way to survive off:

$210,000 / 15 = $14,000 per person per year
$577,000 / 15 = $38,466 per person per year

$14,000 * 0.8 = €11,200
$38,466 * 0.8 = €30,772

Still haven't applied Germany's income tax, I'm too lazy to do that.

A single person earning less than €15,000 annually or a household with two adults and two children earning less than €31,500 annually are also considered to be at risk of poverty
The average yearly salary in Germany for a full-time employee is around €54,800 gross
Let's lie to ourselves and say every one of the 15 employees gets this exact cut as their annual income, ignoring things like studio space fees or licensing fees or certain employees (Adeptus) obviously making more than others as studio lead.

Where's the money Lebowski?

Unfortunately your math relies on assumptions drawn from a single video on a single website, without any substantial evidence to back it up. For all we know, those people you mentioned could just as easily be friends rather than employees(full time or otherwise).

The "meet the team" page being nearly empty(aside from two people) likely reflects reality: at most, two or three individuals might be working on this project as their full time job. The rest are probably a loose mix of part-time contributors and freelancers commissioned for specific tasks. For instance, an artist might be hired to create a single animation or outfit, technically they're "working" on the game, but only in a limited capacity.

So when the developer talks about having seperate "teams", it's probably an exaggeration. More likely, it's a rotating group of designers and coders brought in occasionally, presented as if there's a proper studio behind the project when in reality it's much less structured.

I realize I sound pessimistic, and yes, I'm making assumptions too. But given the circumstances, there don't seem to be any other reasonable explanations for the state of this "game", especially considering it's been in development for nearly ten years, backed by ongoing patreon support.

I mean they have more than one product and, on their linkedin page it shows 11 employees currently working there. It doesn't change much in way of your argument, but I am pretty sure that not all of them are doing WildLife work as a primary job - maybe some part time, some full time...

In either case. They're potentially getting a lot of money for over-promising and under-delivering.

Good ammount of animations in sandbox mode, i wish quarter of those were used in actual story gameplay to make some senses out of it
The animations likely will be used in the story and gameplay. We don't have the whole story and game available yet.

Hey! Is there a way in sandbox modes to control npc creatures behaviour ? like make them stop wandering, or better yet control bones etc? The bone control in sandbox mode doesn't work on npc it seems?

Chris, by any chance, there's a possibility to see FFXIV and Genshin Impact models as well?

Hello T4t0rt
Yes, a bit like mine. You'll find them all on the WildSanctum Discord page, "which I salute."
I have a few, I'll take a screenshot for you.
-In the Avatars section, "that's what they call them."

Hello megac8
Yes, it's possible. You have to animate them. "Character pose - animator." There are a lot of them in my medieval map.
Like making them walk along a path, sexual poses, etc. I'll send an example tonight, well, with the time difference.

Is it finally possible to save the story mode or transfer it to the next version or do we still have to replay it everytime from the beginning?
