There is a post on their fucking Patreon with a release date, plenty of posts on there also giving updates to the development, all available for free. AdeptusSteve has even made a post a few pages ago about the fact they are working on the game. They are working on the story mode, but they won't release it until it's done, so in the meantime the updates are for sandbox, which will tie into the story mode considering the sex minigames and possibility of seeing animations happening.
Every time a new update drops a bunch of you people come out of the woodwork to complain and condemn the devs as milkers, you're doing nothing and contributing nothing to the discussion about the game, and it's one of the reasons this thread has over 1200 pages because a bunch of them are taken up by this.

They need to focus on story and quests... are they going to keep building the foundations and tech improvements to this game until a second asteroid hits Earth and we all die?

What are the sandbox animations if not part of what is being worked for the actual story?
We just get it firs on the sandbox because is easier to show it there than just having sit away while the story is fucking finished.
Like common people, is not that hard to see.

More climax animations would be nice. Would like to see some overflow effects with those fluids they like to present so much.

Just saw someone mention sandbox animations are for actual story. I hope "actual story" is atleast 50 hours long at a minimum because if not that post is not going to age well.

Story mode is being worked on, you can check this post for some recent dev blog posts, we are currently focusing a lot on the story-mode world map, the combat and the story-mode cutscenes. Soon we will also start work with an external writer to push the story and dialogues to the next level.
Not to worry, one of the planned minigames that will start animation soon is Max with 2 Kendas (the anthro Zebra). Yes you heard correctly, there is two of them.
Nice, any chance that the kerpalis will also get a cumflation/pregnancy costume set?
