Look: it is not always just about "can't you just buy a bigger HDD?".you have a 4k monitor but no storage?
It's about the efficient use of something, it's about the necessity, it's about the environment, and yes: sometimes it's about the money too.
Why should one waste ressources in form of money, technical equipment, time and so on for things that one doesn't really need?
I could store everything in 4k-quality, sure, but then my harddrives wouldn't last since 4-8 years.
Hundreds and thousands of dollars more would be gone, just to keep every movie or clip in my storage at absolute top-quality - and to watch it 1x in the mentioned 8 years.
For a maybe 4% better experience i had to pay 400% of my actual storage-budget.
And then energy. Natural ressources. An additional PC because the current one couldn't hold so much drives...
Wasting so much ressources of any thinkable kind for a fucking 4% better experience?

compressing takes resources too and 720 is pretty shit especially after a lossy>lossy compression. imo 1080 is good enough for most, 4k for the best stuff and vigilant deletion of subpar stuff with like 10+TB is reasonably optimal. even 50TB can be filled up so you can't really avoid deletingInaro Samenbank How about you take this discussion to DM's? I made the centaur armor this week. I added it to the project files and now it's rendering on two machines at the same time. I don't know when the Ritual skin version will be ready yet. But if it's between holidays, I'll post it anyway.

I'll make the trailer for this alternative version tomorrow. And tomorrow night there will be a vote on the ATWT pose. This survey will last until January 6th. You'll have plenty of time to vote.
We also worked on the GK P4 BTS video story this week. It's 80% done. I'll start with that in January.
Of course, there will be a year review and 2025 plans post. As usual. Also, I'm moving to a new studio in the spring. I'll bring you information about that too.

I like this guys art, but something about it makes me feel "eh". I think it boils down to it never really seems like the women enjoy whats happening to them... only that they are the target of some happening. If you compare his stuff to d3d, bob, jackerman, nyl and a bunch of the more popular artists you realize wild presents so much lust, but very little enjoyment. No fun, no excitement, no turning point. I understand that I'm being nitpicky about whats becoming softcore 3d porn... but I'm just wondering why I don't love this guys stuff even though I enjoy the subjects he presents. Most women I know enjoy the lust and attention, but really enjoy the happening. After the mystery, its no longer allure, they just genuinely enjoy that you are probing their guts or blasting their asshole and pushing them beyond their understanding of their comfort zone. They are hopping from toe to toe because the joy I give them is something they literally can't experience on their own because they gave up control. I feel like this artist can easily convey this type of terror turned into melting joy, and that they don't feels like something is missing by design. This artist spent the time to create a relationship between some of his characters but it doesn't feel like it ever goes beyond servant and mistress. I feel like the sub should be melting in anticipation of her mistress wrecking her, not surprised, then passive, then basically becoming a love doll.

I agree with a lot of this. If Lara would just start to lose herself and become a submissive slut who enjoys herself, it would be a lot more enjoyable for the viewer as well.
It's all about incorrect priorities with Wildeer. He'll scrap months of work because he 'forgot to make her breathe', but won't spend any time on making Lara enjoy herself or developing her corruption.
