I was checking the latest updates one this site and saw this game dialogue style and was like "Yep, this is another Droid productions game lol"
Good on you that you have your own unique style to make it easier to know which games is yours and help it grow

No, I can imagine that's an issue... I just need to set an in_transit flag, but that kind of book-keeping tends to be my weak-spot.

There's also a fair amount of dialog with the gardener and meditation that will morph as you play the game.

This is in wings_of_empire_linux_0_3_0b ... two sequences during the ambush have angle brackets around Rosebud. I don't remember that happening in version 2.

You should have had a chance to name rosebud for customization reasons.

The debug command for resetting it is: DefaultNameHer=Valeria, Rosebud

firefox gives a virus warning when I try to download the linux version from uploadnow.io

(see below - but this seems to be a false alarm. Scanning the extracted files detects no viruses)

No idea. Sounds like a false positive; they're all built on the same PC, so... Some download servers are automatically considered suspicious for not registering for the powers that be.

OK yes - seems to be a false positive by firefox. extracted and scanned the directory with a real anivirus program, and no issues found. Sorry for the false alarm.

It's both sites, vikingfile is known for triggering the firefox popup as well (Firefox is using an URL based blocklist, and it's kinda crap).

While you're at it, you can get a SHA256 hash of the zip (sha256sum wings_of_empire_win64_0_3_0d.zip), should be 256f0661c0d723710277d79e2dd43cfd54c39c44f45510ce9deb3de78248a620 (gofile download, no popup).
While a filehoster manipulating the archive to insert malware is possible, AFAIK all attacks we've had here were via infected files being uploaded (the attacker pretending to be a leaker and providing a version of the game with the malware added).

You're of course right, too used to everything just using the win file (and too tired ), hash is identical to the linux gofile version.
