I was looking forward to a new update on this one. Awesome artwork an immersion in this crazy world that the developers created. The main character is highly relatable, 50% drunk 50% hobo and 50% perverted (is that count right?). However, I wish that were more info in the changelog, it seems that they have deleted the old ones.
Can someone explain me the quest in the old mine with boris? I pumped twice and got him to work there. The next night as usual I could not click the red arrow. I tried multiple times to reach him, but the mine is flooded again and I can neither lend the pump again nor did I meet him somewhere else.

does someone have a save directly for Cave event? i am through the game but overwrote my save. cant replay that scene anymore now. i dont want to spend 3hours clicking to reach the same point again.

I don't think the quest log really changes, it said the same at the end of the last update. The only difference is with the last update you still had the option to select "send Jack to hunt" which prompted a message saying that it would continue in the next update. I'm guessing they split this update to at least release something but either didn't bother or had the time to properly end it. The English in this update is pretty bad as well.

I did the cave mission before so i got the goo. but with the new update i don't have the goo anymore and no cave mission so... bug?
I guess if you finished with Jack's training exercises you are unable to progress till the next update, cause you can't get her to leave the room.

I'm having the same issue. not sure if its a bug or they forgot to make a way resupply some ingredients.

Can I edit my save to reset the mine and try it again or mark it to tell the game I completed it successfully?

Just reproduced this and I could redo the quest by resetting the following variables. Back-up your save in case.
Once you typed them go to Jack's room and the quest will re-appear.

Did as instructed, but I couldn't find "bilobval" in the parameters of my save.
I always rotate the old save (the one I upload to modify) out to another folder before replacing it with the modded save.
