This has been a common issue recently with the spread of fake itchio sites and also random files uploaded here popping off windows defender blocks for people. Sometimes it's false positives, but sometimes maybe not. I know there's this page that lists all games with malware found here:

I would imagine that anything that did have a virus would be added to this list, but it might have to be reported as such first so the mods can check.

game seems to have a bug, where you write the name of the statue in Hogsmeade it becomes your name, overriding the name you've set up at the start. Probably some funky variable assignment going there under the hood

I mean if you're going to do time travel to mix older and younger characters, you might as well include McGonagall and Trelawny and Hooch and so on, rather than monster girls or OCs. Trelawny is very similar to Luna though, so I understand why she might be shelved.

McGonagall is the Minerva that is mentioned on the game's menu and in the dev notes. Trelawny wouldn't be employed by the school yet since her prophecy about Lily's child is when she gets hired.
