Jade is strong and aggressive, but also has a submission kink. It's a particularly bad combination because she can't just LET someone win. She's kind of a badass, so she doesn't get to experience her kink often. Finding someone strong enough to overpower her is super rare, so when she does, it's extremely exciting for her. I promise you she hasn't turned into a "fuckpet" as you stated lol.
I called her a fuckpet because of the lovely throat fuck that you just know is going to escalate. I know more than one person who is strong willed outside the bedroom but enjoys being a fuckpet inside. They aren't mutually exclusive. Her being willing only changes the dynamics. Besides. One of my favorite parts about shortstacks and pettanko are that they can be manhandled and positioned.

As for the other male not being fleshed out, I as just stating it as a point of reference/evidence. It's impossible to avoid all of the porn logic tropes, especially in a harem type game. Though I'm still quite curious as to how you're going to explain the slimeall still having a job in the story.

As far as the other guys on campus, that's on me for not delving more into who they are; I figured the H community at large wouldn't really care about them and I'd get shit for focusing on dudes too much lol. My bad for assuming.
TBF you pretty well nailed it there with that assumption. Us harem fans are mostly split between two camps of people who just regularly dislike male NPCs, and people who are convinced male NPCs are part of some deep state government conspiracy to bring NTR into their games.
Still interested to see why what's his name still has a job. Kinda suspect it's just a family thing or something but there definitely seems like there's something to it.

I have a BEVY of nonstandard-colored monster girls coming
Oh God Yes, give me the whole crayola box.

One of the things I really want to do is work on 3 clans of dragon girls. Chromatic, Metallic, and Gem dragon clans, to be precise. They probably won't be featured until one of the later arcs, but it's a goal of mine.
You are a gentleman of culture, sir, and I appreciate you.

PROGRESS REPORT: Major Rewrite/Early Release

Alright, I know many of you will be a little bit confused by the title. So let me explain.

I realized that the last major scene on Friday was a bust. I wrote myself into a corner, and the major challenge for these last 17 days since the last devlog was figuring out how to salvage it. Ultimately, after talking to a couple of my consultants (bless them, really), I decided to scrap the scene and replace it with a much more believable and true-to-form scene.

1666689724915.png
Here's the problem.

This new scene needs planning, writing, shooting, scoring, and bugtesting. I COULD push myself and try to whip a full scene out of my ass and get it done within a couple of days, but I'm also fairly certain that the quality of the scene would be far lower than if I wasn't rushing to get the build out.

That brings us to another issue.

Y'all have been waiting a while for the next build, and it's time to release new content. EVERYTHING before this scene is COMPLETELY done, and there are some HUGE story bits. This scene I'm about to rewrite basically gives us the excuse to move into the next story arc, and there are so many big story bits in this update so far that I could easily ship this update without this scene and Friday's Evening scene. So, I could ship you new content, and save this rewritten scene for the Saturday Sunday update.

1666689740587.png

I honestly think this is the best thing to do, that way y'all get a bunch of new content to go through. All I have to do is finish an H-scene and add some text conversations sprinkled throughout Thursday and Friday, and you'll have 2 more ingame days to play. It'll make the Saturday Sunday update heavier on content as well. So I'm gonna work on finishing the H-scene and text conversations over the next couple of days and polish/flesh things, and then start the release schedule! Get ready for the newest build of WCA!

Also, the Subscribestar page is now live! Head to if you'd like to support the project, get exclusive benefits, and not deal with Patreon lol.

See you on the other side!

- Vic

Lovely. I'm looking at the last picture and I wonder how Wither sees the world with eyes like that. Would she see normally or would she see life energies, for example.

As this version of Dryads (Saarya and Wither) are from my fantasy series, The Riftkey Chronicles, I can explain.

Without pupils, Dryad eyes don't so much "see" as human eyes do. Similar to what you suggested, they function as receptors for energy signatures. These senses are so fine-tuned that they can perceive the world almost identically to the way we do if they want to, but their sight is powered by spirit magic, not by photons. Dryads function as living conduits of spirit magic, which is why, in their elemental magic, they can just speak things into existence. Humans trying to use Dryad magic not only have to learn the correct words to call the energy, but must learn somatic motions called Hand Phases that were developed to draw, compress, and release this energy. Without the Hand Phases, we would burn ourselves out.

The common fireball, for example, for a human, would be Dragari Kamei, or "Fire Attack Magic." Then, they would need to perform the Hand Phases jiet and kai, and a small ball of fire would project from their hand. A Dryad would simply speak Kamei and there would be fire, wherever and however they willed it. Even stronger if they add more words to it. Azumet na kamei would be "strong fire," which could end up as a blazing inferno. Kamei al alasanmai, "sleeping fire," could be embers that, over the course of time, would build into a wildfire. But Dryads don't care much for fire, or for destruction, for that matter. Not unless they are Arutheni.

Like Wither.

[ACCESS] T3 Supporters/Price Drop to $10

Alright so... I realized a little something. I had originally slated the T3 Supporter Access for tomorrow, but I failed to realize I'm gonna be busy packing and catching a plane tomorrow. So here we go, a day early! As of now, Tier 3 Supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar now have access to the new build, and those of you who prefer to do things directly from Itch now only need to pay $10 instead of $25 for early access. This will go down to $5 on Saturday and then free next Tuesday, the 15th, so waiting for the new content is always an option.

Also, I did a little experiment, and I want to ask... so far, this game has featured all-original characters created by myself, fellow devs, and our Tier 5 supporters. But I found a bunch of character cards in the modpack. They weren't super accurate to the source material, so I tried my hand at doctoring them up and making them look more consistent, and I've been having still more made for what I thought was going to be my next project after WCA was finished but...

How would you feel about WCA gaining a sort of Kingdom Hearts style system that would allow you to travel to other worlds or otherwise encounter characters from already-established IPs? This would not be main story content, just extra, bonus quests for those who wished to see this kind of content. Each girl would have her own story just like all the optional quests we're working on right now. Do you feel the inclusion of established characters from other IPs would dilute the experience of WCA or enhance it?

1667834942177.png
Oops. Someone dropped a Yordle.

I'd love to hear some opinions on this as I'm unsure as to whether or not to keep it all in the same game or make crossover characters a whole separate project/game. Tell me what you think, and what characters you'd like to see if you like the idea.

Anyways, enjoy the price drop and I'll be back in a few days to drop it again!

Personally I like things the way they are so far. You still have so much you can do with the characters you already created I feel creating more could make things needlessly complicated or convoluted. If you want to include travel to other realms I would say keep it within your universe of WCA where you can visit the realms of the races in WCA. It would be nice if you could pick a favorite girl and visit their realm with them(this could actually be made into it's own arc or possibly an ending strategy if not harem ending). Maybe later if you want to include characters from other IPs I would say do it per request via vote from patrons/supporters, but I would keep the main focus on the races you created for this story.

Unless it's a part of a major crossover or the project has that sort of focus from the start I personally find that sort of thing to be a needless immersion break. (and I'm saying this even as a massive Kingdom Hearts fan)

That seems to be the consensus my Discord has reached regarding crossover characters. In that case, what I'll probably do is include them in a separate game. One person suggested kind of a middle ground: since WCA is largely about monster girls, why not take the species we're interested in, Yordles in this example and, instead of using already established characters, make a couple of original ones like we did with Goblins?

That could probably work.

I've got no problems with crossovers but I'd personally rather not have the steam taken away from the story, the girls, and not to mention all the teased girls we haven't even met yet. If going to another world means developing a whole bunch of new assets, environments, rooms and stuff then it might be more streamlined to have them come to the main world instead.

What I do know for sure though, is that Yordle is super cute and sexy and the world definitely needs her (getting fucked) in it

That's Poppy from League of Legends. Card needs some work to be a lil more accurate, but it was close.

I think the crossover would characters would enhance the game. After all, it is called "World's Crossing" Academy. It makes sense to 'cross worlds' lol
