Progress Report: ALMOST THERE!

Hello ya darn cuties, you.

As the title suggests, the next update is nearly ready. This update will be SUPER heavy on story, but light on H-content. So if you're here for the sexy bits, this might be the update you skip, as there is only one planned H-scene right now. I may get inspired and add a second one, if it makes sense.



Onto the actual progress:

THURSDAY: All that's left is adding music and bugtesting. Thursday is basically done.

FRIDAY: Need to finish shooting the current scene. Then, finish writing the last major scene and minor scene. Then comes shooting 2 major scenes and one minor scene. Finally, adding music and bugtesting the whole day.

The optional content system will most likely be introduced next update, in the Saturday Sunday portion of the week. I and a couple of other guest writers have started decent chunks of content for 3 optional girls so far, and once we nail this system down, I'll start writing content for the girls that are already in WCA. As a result, you'll be able to pick who you spend time with during your Free Time periods. These optional questlines are where all of the H-content in the game will be, save for a few story-centric events. I want to put the choice to experience H-content into the hands of the player as much as possible.

I get so many comments on my feedback form asking for a chance to make Wither happy lol. We're getting there, and I wanted to show a little bit of that. This next update has a REALLY cute scene with her that should settle some of the worry in everyone's hearts.

Preferably if it adds another layer or drama to the story; if it doesn't jump to month 9 suddenly and happens gradually over time; and if it's not the ending and not if it's the end and there's no baby. Labor, for me, is always a nice bonus.

Thank you so much. That's EXACTLY the difference I was trying to make in this genre. I know I'm not the only one, but I wanted to really give that well-written JRPG feel to a game where you also get to explore your relationships with the girls you like. I've had my fair share of criticism, too. In fact, one recent feedback entry said:

"stop propagating woke and feminist bs ideologies and concentrate on writing an entertaining story that doesn't mainly focus on having the mc fix damaged/scarred people or suggest that an efeminate/weak guy is harem-'leader'-material. let the mc evolve to become a true masculine man not the current simping, white-knighting, closet-fag who seems to like being a tool. no gay/trans stuff (river?). MUCH less masculine and more feminine energy exuding from the females."

These are precisely the type of people this game ISN'T for. I'm not out here to be just like all the rest. I wanted my story to be DIFFERENT. So for those of you who appreciate that and can see it for what it is, and understand that most of the content that you wish to avoid will be made avoidable, I'm deeply grateful.

I have a BEVY of nonstandard-colored monster girls coming, one of which you'll be able to start interacting with in the Saturday/Sunday update, which is the update after this next one. That'll bring the game to version 1.0, and the end of the Janitor Arc. One of the things I really want to do is work on 3 clans of dragon girls. Chromatic, Metallic, and Gem dragon clans, to be precise. They probably won't be featured until one of the later arcs, but it's a goal of mine.

Progress Report: I can TASTE it

Okay, that probably wasn't the most tasteful title (hue hue hue) but I quite literally have 2 scenes left to write, shoot, and score, and 2 scenes left to shoot and score. Total of 4 scenes. Thursday is finished except for the H-scene, and I'm almost done shooting that. Friday has a HUGE scene that needs to be shot and scored. After that, I have to finish writing the last two scenes before shooting and scoring THEM, and I was considering adding another H-scene, even though those take an immense amount of work. I had some ideas based on recent characters you've met, and there are several scenes that I could write that would make sense story-wise.



Because story first. Always. I refuse to succumb to "porn logic" as that's what pisses me off about modern adult games. Make it make sense, or don't do it.



As it stands, I should hopefully have all of this done within the next two weeks and on a release schedule. I'll make another post when I'm ready to launch. For now, enjoy some preview shots of some of the upcoming scenes!

Jade is strong and aggressive, but also has a submission kink. It's a particularly bad combination because she can't just LET someone win. She's kind of a badass, so she doesn't get to experience her kink often. Finding someone strong enough to overpower her is super rare, so when she does, it's extremely exciting for her. I promise you she hasn't turned into a "fuckpet" as you stated lol.

As far as the other guys on campus, that's on me for not delving more into who they are; I figured the H community at large wouldn't really care about them and I'd get shit for focusing on dudes too much lol. My bad for assuming.

Fair point about some of it being unavoidable. I just don't want the story to dissolve into a tropey, "every scene is a lame excuse to have sex" mess of a game. You know the ones. That's the thing I want to try to stay away from, if that makes any sense.
