It happens on my laptop at work and on my gaming pc at home, 2 different net providers. 1 wifi, one hardlined over Ethernet. I uploaded my Renpy stuff just fine but when it came time to push my Ai Shoujo stuff, it says Nah. I just want my damn UserData/Cap folder for all the shots I've taken to be synced.
Oh, maybe try searching in the repository settings for something called "LFS" or "Large File Storage".

Maybe the files are bigger than what it is expecting?

I'll 100% be downloading your next build. I like the concept. I like the story. I like the art and characters. But what I like the most is a Dev behind it all that is committing to their vision first and foremost. In a genre that's over-saturated, a polished narrative is going to raise any game to the top the fastest for me. And you're still combing through hundreds of comments for feedback? True dedication right there. As long as you don't pander to everyone by including needless game mechanics or fetishes or rush sex scenes to keep the horndogs happy, I think this game is going to be a real gem.

Thank you so much. Yeah, that's the idea. Sifting through as much feedback as I can to get the best ideas possible to drive the game forward. As an author, I prioritize story quality above all else, and I'm glad that's showing here in WCA to so many people. It is decidedly light in H-scenes, and everyone always wants more, but I'm hoping to keep up with my trend of 3 to 4 scenes per in-game week of content. It's light, but I feel like it really fits this story best.

And yes, you're not exaggerating when you say hundreds of comments. The feedback form is up to 241 responses since the release of this build, and I've been sifting through and making notes here and there. I do this about once or twice a week on that feedback form alone, as I'm always looking for the newest comments, ideas, and requests.

For example, one of the biggest requests I'm seeing on this build is to give Harpy Girl a name and her own story. Thing is, she already HAS a name and a story... y'all just haven't seen it yet. Which makes me think I need to prioritize her as one of the optional characters in this next build.

EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE. of feedback is precious to me, as anyone who takes the time to let me know what they think and/or want is helping me shape this game into the best it can possibly be. Thank you for your appreciation.

The game is very good, and for now I like almost all the LIs (eliminating for now the Harpy and the stalker yandere and possibly the director)

I'm personally waiting the moment we can avoid the first scene with the harpy (not just avoid seeing it)

Honestly I would prefer if you choose to see (or not see) the sex scenes but they are still happening no matter what, that way there is a single storyline and Victor doesn't have to take into account one million different permutations to the routes. Also, who knows? the harpy could even grow on you if you give her the chance...some characters start badly but as you get to know them better they end up being super endearing and lovely to be around.

If the scene happens yes or yes, and I only have the opportunity to avoid seeing it, then there is no possibility that that LI interests me. None at all. Also, the harpy is a side character from which you can choose to follow her story or not. In my case it isn't likely that she interests me (some remote possibility exists if I can completely avoid scenes like the first one).

VictorSeven has already said that he is going to make the scene avoidable (when he can, there is no rush), not that it's an express request of mine. But if he does it, I will repeat the game from the beginning with the sole purpose of avoiding it. I may be weird, I don't know.

Well, with the optional girls, it's much easier. If you don't choose to spend time with them, there will be no scenes with them unless they appear in the main story. Harpy Girl (whose name I would love to tell you but refuse to spoil) has no scenes in the main story, so if you don't choose to spend time with her, you'll never see her.

I eventually want to rework the Walking in the Woods scene to be the beginning of her storyline, and become an optional scene that you'll skip if you don't choose it. That way, you avoid Harpy Girl altogether if you don't like her.

The only character I'm planning on having a true "fork" to her path right now is Cecilia. She is a VERY polarizing character. Some people love her and want me to give her a redemption arc. Some people want me to kill her off. These are two extremes, though, and I'm going to do neither of these things. I'm going to let the player decide what happens with her.

Agreed with Cecilia, are you gonna put a choice in where she get's caught by the security team and the MC can choose to try and talk to her, eventually calming her and maybe starting her love interest path?
Or choose to finally breath easy now that she is in custody and she get sent off to finally get the therapy she desperately needs, thereby removing her from the game?
Because that sounds like a solid plan to my mind at least, Cecilia is nuttier than squirrel shite right now, (and who can blame her, her sister was MUCH WORSE doing what she did to her) but in my opinion she deserves a chance to finally be with the MC, though she must accept the other women in his life

I was initially happy when I saw that there would be a fork in Cecilia's path, but got depressed when we couldn't use it to stab her to a slow, painful, bleeding death with it.:eek::(:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Left to rot in a dungeon under the city never to be seen again? Shipped to Mars? Turned into a bunny and released into a coyote infested forest?......just some suggestions. ;):LOL:

I like crazy as much as anyone (actually, thinking about a few of my ex's, I might like it more than others ) but I don't know about redemption for Cecilia. I can forgive her for what she did to me, but I am a LOT less forgiving about what she did to *old man brain won't let me remember her name*....it will be interesting to see where that goes. It might also be interesting to see if she has a run-in with Jade.

I am looking forward to seeing more of Harpy Girl though. I think she would be a lot of fun, provided we can get past the whole life/soul-sucking thing.

Between the two mentioned, I think the way Harpy Girl was going to kill the MC is the better way to go :)

I don't know about redemption for Cecilia.
I could spoil what I'm thinking. But I feel like it would be more fun for you to find out in-game. But I will say that, to me, it makes the most sense if, considering what Cecilia has done, she faces the consequences for her actions. Other games let yanderes run wild and free without consequences, and with what I'm trying to do with WCA, I think it would do the game a disservice to have the world turn a blind eye to a potential killer. Most of my game leans toward more realistic interactions, and realistically, there's only so long a violent person can get away with committing these types of acts.

That being said, I plan for the player to

The first scene may be a little uncomfortable, but I plan for Aurum to come in with a plan for the second time, and every time afterward. He's supposed to be an intelligent character who learns. So for him to be bested twice in a row, the same way? Out of character for him.

Since we're on the topic, any ideas or suggestions for any of the other characters? I feel like feedback from the F95 community in particular has done great things for this game!

After the first interaction there is no possibility that I want to experience a second one. So I'll let her live her life happily doing whatever the harpies do. Of course a good distance from the MC.

Personally, the moment when Cecilia disappears will seem perfect. I don't like yanderes, and this one isn't exception. Likewise, if the yandere part disappears completely in one of hers paths, there is a remote possibility that she might interest me.

I am personally NOT asking for spoilers, the exact opposite in fact. I am not even checking the spoilers you just posted (no matter how minor they probably are). I definitely prefer to experience the story as it develops.

I don't have any real suggestions at this point. I have been following this for a bit now, but I just tried this one for the first time earlier this week and have only done a single play through. I typically wait until around a v0.3 release before trying something, no matter how interesting it looks, but couldn't resist this one anymore.....blame Nook :)
I'll need to do another run so that I can focus more on the world & characters, rather the story itself, before I have any kind of suggestions for the characters.

I will say is that I hope we get to have more interactions with Wither, and I don't mean as a potential LI (if that is even planned). She is just an absolutely adorable bundle of attitude that I would personally like to see more of. I also really like the way you are doing the foreshadowing with the mirror.

Having been the victim of a violent yandere in real life, I hate them with a passion. As much as I'm going to keep lobbying for my violent fork-stabbing related Cecilia death ;) , as soon as you said "The only character I'm planning on having a true "fork" to her path right now is Cecilia. I hate games that have a yandere character that terrorizes everyone in the game and bullies and fem-doms the MC into a relationship with no repercussions at all.

Thanks for letting us deal with her even if it isn't violent, bloody and painful ;)

Im with you in this... Im not touching those spoilers with a ten foot stick, I prefer to enjoy the story inside the game and be surprised....that said I do like to speculate about possible outcomes, a little fan theory to get the creative juices flowing and maaaaaaaybe inspire Victor to do something cool with those ideas.

In my opinion I really like Cecilia as an antagonist, her being the final boss of the story or at least a big scary looming threat that can (and will) surprise you in the worst possible moment is pretty exciting, I want to see more of her yandere antics before she gets finally caught, after all, those flashbacks presented her as real threat and I don't wanna see her "defeated" until much later in the story.

And speaking about her resolution Im focusing on an hypotetical redemption path since I don't think anybody is beyond redemption I think Cecila will be arrested and sent to prison after having a mental breakdown in her final confrontation with Aurum and his gang, maybe if you choose to try to reason with her during other earlier encounters you will plant the seed of doubt and eventually you will be able to punch some sense into her and make her realize she has became a monster even worse than her sister making her finally surrender (after a good bunch of action packed/adrenaline pumping moments of course).

But is already too late, there is already too much blood in her hands to be left free, poor Nook won't be able to swim again without her arms. So she needs to pay for her crimes and go to prison, but you also noticed that she is terrified, not for the prison but for herself, she just realized she had monster in her head that fills her obsession with you and wisper terrible thoughts when sees you hanging out with other girls, now she can see it but is not like she can just make those voices dissapear with a snap, she is afraid she might become a yandere again, after all, deep mental trauma can't realistically be healed with one heart touching conversation inside an old manor on fire. So Aurum decides that he needs to help Cecilia, so he decides he will visit her in the prison every time he can, to talk to her, calm her and try help her fight her demons, he knows he will have to go alone, he can't ask any of the other girls to come with him, after all that happened, some of them hate her guts, and most of them are terribly afraid of her, and with good reason, is not fair for them, you must go alone, you are worried that if you decide to visit her you might end up making her dependent on you for emotional support, being the only light in her life again could fuel her yandere self, but you just can't sit around and leave her alone in a tiny cell, trapped with a demon she can't just stab with a knife, you became terribly afraid she might try to end her life in order to silence those voices, you must do something, even if is not the best solution, is a solution that will keep her alive. You get ready to visit her on the prison after your wounds healed but before you leave the hospital you notice someone waiting outside, is Gillie!, her first victim, the person that should be the most afraid of her is there, and just as she saved you when you were alone and with no ties to the city or the college by introducing you to her friends, she wanted to help Cecilia and become her friend, that's what she really needed, friends, she doesn't need to rely on only one person for emotional stability, when you have friends that support you they can share the load of your burdens, they can all help you fight your demons and you can help them in return, that's what Cecile really needed.

And that's how after a few months of constant visits from Aurum and Gillie, gradually all the girls, one by one, began to join in to the visits as well, and before you noticed it, Cecile managed to become real friends with all the girls and the voices inside Cecilia's head gradually dissipated because she didn't needed to obsess with the one light in her life anymore, there was a whole sky filled with lights now.

lol, I didn't expected to write all that, lol, I was trying to dive a little bit into the psychology of a yandere, and though, usually when people get super obssesed with someone is due to an inate fear of losing it, and that makes sense, Cecile life's was hell with her abusive sister and Aurum was the one who rescued her, he was the only light in her life at her lowest moment, so I though it would be interesting attack that angle, instead of being Aurum the savior I think it would be more appropriate to give her a group of friends that will help her overcome her trauma, of course with Aurum there as well, I also wanted Gillie to be the one who initiated the whole thing because since Gillie was her first victim in the game, it would make the scene more impactful seeing a person who has all the right to hate her being the first one to come to her rescue, and thematically ties amazingly well with how Aurum's life changed when Gillie introduced him to her friends and now she can do that again to save Cecilia.

But hey, that's just a theory, A FAAAAAAAN THEORY, thanks for reading!
