Shockingly they were already on my list. You talk like a chest-beating knuckledragger who uses martial arts to bully people. You'd never be allowed in my school.

See that's the thing. You know once you learn something, it starts getting really easy to spot instances of that thing that are done wrong? Like Uncle Roger watching Jamie Oliver make fried rice?Shockingly they were already on my list.
I got bodied during a sparing match while earning my instructor's license with the ITF because I was arrogant. I thought my opponents age negated the skills associated with their belt. Anger and arrogance are your worst enemies in a fight, even against someone with less skill than you. I left my school because the teacher and my fellow students believed the style taught was the end all and be all of fighting, and that didn't sit well with me.See that's the thing. Having taught martial arts for several years, it's easy to spot fake martial artists. The cue for me was "I know X moves that can kill instantly." I'll take Lines That Expose Me As A Fraud for $600, Alex. Yes, there are deadly moves in any martial art, but nothing truly kills instantly. Even if the brain is critically damaged, the body still takes time to die.
Not only that, but the first things martial artists are taught are respect, discipline, humility, and control. What we saw here was a perfect example of someone without those values. It's still possible to have combat skill without them, but I find that many people in that situation either taught themselves via YouTube videos or are just a big fish in a small pond among their friends. True martial artists are taught very early on that if they misuse their knowledge, they will have their master to deal with. And if respect for the art isn't enough to keep us in line, that is. My master was 60 years old with a replacement hip from a motorcycle accident and I clearly remember being kicked across a room by him during a demonstration. Thankfully I was holding a side shield but good lord. There is nothing more humbling than being ragdolled by someone with decades more experience than you.
Boasting about your skill, though, is an easy way to get killed. Nothing I know is gonna stop a bullet.
I remember my very first sparring match. It was against the master's niece. I was a red belt at the time, and she had her poom belt (in our school, one step before 1st Dan). I'm ignorant of course and think, "I'm fighting a girl; I gotta go easy."I got bodied during a sparing match while earning my instructor's license with the ITF because I was arrogant. I did four years of pan am taekwondo and four of ITF style. I lost count of how many times I got my ass kicked by girls and women. What made me realize that one style isn't the end all and be all was getting floored by my adoptive father who was a brown belt in Judo. All it took was one well timed leg sweep and I was screwed every time.I remember my very first sparring match. It was against the master's niece. Brother she wiped the floor with me.
It was then that I learned that gender is lost when someone initiates combat. You get hit, you defend yourself, no matter who it is. Hard lesson, and my ego did not enjoy it, but it's one I'll remember forever.

Congrats for even parsing that word salad to make a reply. IMHO you put far more effort into it than it deserved. It means you're playing the wrong game.
I'm stealing the phrase "word salad" lol that is fantasticCongrats for even parsing that word salad to make a reply. IMHO you put far more effort into it than it deserved.
Tried to translate this to German, because combining words...I'm stealing the phrase "word salad" lol that is fantastic
I actually was surprised at how easy nightmare mode was... I was anticipating having to beat my head against a wall to unlock the secret character, but made it through first try. And I'm a chronic easy mode player in basically all games. Not gonna lie, you guys talking about salad is getting me hungry. That aside though, fighting Willy in nightmare mode was funny yet a bit annoying but the allure of getting a secret character is worth it in my opinion. Gotta catch em all. And now to get back to the fight though as he's almost at half health
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'll respond in kind for easy organization.I like the graphic, but I do have a couple of questions and comments.
First, absolutely prefer the whole episode in one go approach. Gives me more to ruminate on and speculate about for the future.
Second, why the term "Shooting" instead of rendering?
Third, by Scoring, do you mean audio stuff? If so, credit to you, I love that you include that.
Fourth, because I'm a detail loving man, yes please to further breakdowns. I always love further information on the behind the scenes.
Fifth and finally, how many DLCs are you planning to do total? For better or worse you've hooked me hard into this game and I'm really invested in seeing where it goes.
Terrific and very promising, expect the things go smoothly in successful accomplishment of each step but yea as a player and a new supporter lots of appreciation for this clarity in build content and work done in each. So all in all great initiative![PROGRESS REPORT] Roadmap for 2024
Hey all!
So I see other creators do these cute little update graphics and whatnot, so I figured I'd take a crack at it. Did I overdo it? Probably. But it's pretty.

I figured this would help break down exactly what to expect in the next couple of updates, as well as outline progress we're making on each piece of the puzzle that is AVN development. To break this down:
Build 1.3.5.0 will be a Side Content update that will feature batches of scenes for Wither, Galka, Ember, and Serafina. Our goal is to take each girl to a total of 5 scenes.
Build 1.4.0.0 will be a Main Story build where we drop an entire main story episode all at once like we did with Episode 3. We got glowing praise for putting out an entire episode instead of sections, so we may sacrifice a little bit of update frequency to do this if it proves feasible for all of our episodes. There ARE some episodes that may end up being split in half because they're so big, but it should be a while before we get to those.
Also, Senia and Saffryn DLC are in the works, though we don't have much beyond 25% planning for Saffryn yet. These DLCs should be around 20 scenes each with a scene select at the very ends so you can replay any scene you want once you finish their stories. This'll be a sort of gallery for each girl, and may have some extras. For DLCs we sort of lean towards waiting until the DLC is completely finished before putting it out for sale or for Supporters. Jury's still out on that, but I'd like people to know they're getting a complete product for their money rather than waiting on updates to continue something they purchased, whereas the main game can be played for free and is understood to be in constant development.
Do you like update graphs like this? Would you like to see more breakdowns of where dev time is going? Let me know!

Guilty as charged lmaoHow to tell us your age without telling us your age; Captain Caveman, Hong Kong Phooey and Bon Jovi references.
Course, I recognized them, so I'm right there with you.
Totally made my day. Thank you.
