Alright so recently, I've been dealing with a lot of headaches specifically surrounding DLC on Android. Long story short, Ren'py 7.8.7 had a massive memory leak issue that made testing scenes with videos in them impossible. Tom, the guy who makes Ren'py, told us there would never be another Ren'py 7 release, so our best bet was to update to Ren'py 8, which uses a different version of Python.

Turns out, Estrada777, the guy who does the official Android port, doesn't yet have a system that can make Ren'py 8.4.0 play nice with the way he does his external save location, which is what allows Android users to use DLCs. Our best bet right now is to roll back to 8.3.7 and build everything using that. So over the next few days, we're gonna try that, and hopefully we can get all the testing done before it rolls out to T1 and the public. Fingers crossed there aren't any complications.

[PUBLIC RELEASE] Senia's Story Now Available!​

Finally, after over 4 years, we have our first extra romance route available for everyone! And she doubles as our first ever fully complete side story!

Senia has a full 22 scenes, with several H-scenes scattered throughout, and a fully-functional Chapter Select at the end. That's right; you don't need the Fantasies Collection Add-on to replay DLC story scenes. They're all gonna be self-contained. Also, unlike the Fantasies Collection, the Chapter Select isn't just for H-scenes. You can play every single scene over again if you want to, at any time, once you reach the end.

Since this is our first completed side story, Senia is sort of setting the standard for all 48 other side stories in WCA. Each girl will likely have a different number of scenes, but we're aiming for an average of 20 so it feels like a pretty good chunk of content.

Our main focus is always the main game, but releasing a completed DLC story is a really good feeling. Thank you all, and hope you enjoy Senia's romance route!

Hey all! it's time for T1's shot at the new build! Here's the new schedule:

As you can see, 1.4.8.2 goes live to the public in a couple of days. Waiting on Estrada for the Android port, but we have hopefully solved the Android DLC issue. The culprit is Ren'py 8.4.0 specifically, not agreeing with the way Estrada makes external save locations (which lets Android users use DLC without having to root their fuggin phones). The solution seems to be to build the main game in 8.4.0, and build the DLCs in 8.3.7, since the DLCs ended up being forward compatible. Don't ask me how. I don't know.

Speaking of DLC, 1.4.8.2 has some minor fixes, which include a better way to detect the Fantasies Collection. So the main game and the Fantasies Collection need to be updated at the same time if you have both of them.

Senia was recently updated as well, because my dumb ass put her variable at 22 instead of 23, which greys her out once you finish her story instead of letting you access her Chapter Select. So if you're unable to use her Chapter Select, just update Senia.

[PUBLIC RELEASE] Fend Off the Marbog in 1.4.8.2!​

It's time. 1.4.8.2 is the first ~60% of Season 2 Episode 5. We decided on a split release because of how absolutely massive this episode is. We typically average somewhere around 18 to 22 scenes per episode. Including Free Time sections, S2E5 has 70. Absolutely massive. Not only are we handling the Marbog issue on the Spirit Elf world, but we're also finally addressing a lot of story beats that were set up in previous episodes. Closure and progress are the name of the game here, and we're really excited to move the story forward after how dark S2E4 was.

Finally caught up with this wholesome game; being a supporter and not being able to play was well annoying but glad Saturday was working off fortunately so played it and as usual was mesmerized by the work done. Also in additional note got hold of Senia's story; another fantastic bit of work! Kudos for all the effort VictorSeven , it is always pleasing to see what this game has become from the point where it started.

This patch is packed with Main Story AND Side Story scenes so there's a bit of both. It may take us a little while because there's something special I'm trying to do for a really important upcoming scene, and I'm not sure how realistic it is.

Um, I encountered small error. I saw scene where we saw Elewyn first time, then group chat about Jack, then I saw same Elewyn scene again and group chat again before I could continue normally.

Okay. Now I've played whole update. Longer than I expected. And it was among the best updates. Nice plot advancements and Nook's scene was beautiful and touching. I loved it.

I'm worried about MC's future though. I hope he can pick the weapons for certain event (aka none). Nunchaku could be good choice though. MC should be decent with nunchakus and those could be dangerous for beginners.

That's interesting. First I'm hearing of a double scene play. I'll take a look at the code in that section. And also thank you for the kind words.

I've only seen this happen with saves that were transferred from one PC to another. It happened within the dev team when I was having everyone test S2E5 with my save. For some reason, their playthrough wouldn't cooperate with the save I shipped to them. I dunno if that's the case for you, and this is the first time anyone's had this issue with this build. There have been no restarts since August 2024 because that's when we combined Season 1 and Season 2 into one game and finalized the backend systems.

If it's a save you created on your machine, there shouldn't be any reason to restart, but the entire dev team restarted and just held the Skip button to get to where we needed to start testing, and that fixed it for us.

Though I will note, in the second save, it looks like you saved in the middle of Serafina's story? I'm not sure why that would cause an issue, though. I wonder if I should only enable Save during Free Time. Not gonna make any tweaks, 'cause I don't know why this is happening to you. May consult with some other coders to see if they know what the issue is. All of the supporters were able to go through this build with no problems, so this happening specifically to you is puzzling.
