Just look at how Mackenzie talks. Is this a person holding someone accountable? He doesn't even try to hide it. Even in disagreement it's total deference to BD. What a farce.

To me it's official that BD is not the same developer he once was the money has gotten to him. He put in enough work to make life easy for himself and found loyal supporters that's going to give him money to do nothing and now doesn't give a crap about the game. Also for all those asking for the game to get an abandoned tag slapped on it. Lets be honest BD will never allow that to happen. If anything he will make sure to post an update once ever 17 months to avoid it. He will also probably post an update or two when it looks like he is losing support of his patrons pledges and pause the pledges now and than when it get to far between updates, so it can be said "He care about his fans and don't feel right taking their money when he hasn't show anything." Trying to make himself look like a good guy and take pressure off him not delivering anything. Until his feet is held to the fire. He is never going to change or go back to the way things were. We all might as well just accept it and enjoy his posts of excuses of how bad things keep happening that is causing the delays. Because that looks like what we will be getting for the seeable future.

All these things started happening that he has tried to hind behind. I would be willing to bet if all his supporters left. We would start seeing updates after updates again. Patreon should change to system that you get paid on your work shown. If he had to post an update to get paid for that month. I bet we would see updates and not excuses.

I hate to tell you this, but every sex scene in the game is with you and BD.
I picture more a pair of tin cans with string in between them, since they've had so many "communication" issues. Holding one can to his ear, speaking in the other, then having elaborate conversations with himself (selves?).

Looks like BD and McKenzie are scheming on how best to keep the money rolling in. While BD does as little work and he can and also building himself up. Because he's good enough, he's smart enough, and gosh darn it people like him.

I still remember the days he used to update every second week and I pledged him, and all of a sudden when his patrons were sky rocketing, he started to slack off for any reason at all, his aunt died, his grandfather was sick, he used any excuses in the book to delay his updates for months, then he apparently got married etc...etc...etc and over and over again, so I dropped my pledge and kinda trolled him and I was getting the facepalms every time for calling him a milker, guess I wasn't wrong at all

To be fair, I was also skeptical when people started calling him a milker the second he once delayed an update. A lot of people can't wait to be cynical and distrustful and jump on any chance to be proven right about that. I tend to force myself to not be cynical and to err on the side of believing people about what they say, just because I found that it's a healthier approach not to be distrustful all the time.
So even though none of us believe his bullshit anymore—I mean you can only keep your cynicism at bay for so long—I don't think people were wide-eyed or stupid when they didn't jump on the hate train immediately.
