All n all I think I would of liked this game miles more if BD didn't go down this 50 harem route.

More if it was the line of guy being scouted as potential #1 draft pick having to prove himself in WVM while staying loyal to base GF throughout or falling into temptation/etc that does follow when fame or college arrives.

Maybe I'm more of a realist than wanting to have some weird power fantasy lol or the throuple with your bff but not the entire world. Especially that cringe yacht seen, I've never been more tempted to throw them off their own boat.

Quick disclaimer: am not a lawyer, even if i was; i'm not your lawyer. consult one if the need ever arises. With that out of the way:

This is near impossible to enforce, as i understand it BD is based in the US there's simply no way to enforce this if either the other party or court is in another jurisdiction.

Even if all parties are in the US and BD gets sued because of "your use of Patreon" (seriously that sentence needs restructuring) it would likely be resolved by sending 1 letter known as a Disclaimer of interest also known as a Notice of Non-Involvement to the court as to not get involved in a legal battle over something someone else did (on a platform BD doesn't own or control).

As to the "because of your conduct" is a bit more tricky as that encompasses a wide range of scenarios but if limited to hurling insults and not defamation nothing should come of it.

A lot of these people (here, and in the discord), don't seem to get what patreon is. Patreon is not used to buy things. You're freely giving your money to somebody to create. The creator shares on their platform how it is going, and typically has some exclusive content... But here is the kicker, you're not buying the content in a sense. That is more Steam and Itch. You are giving him money to create, that's it. All there is, is a promise from BD that for giving him money, he'll share his content with you, when it's ready. Patreon and Subscribestar are platforms that allow you to fund the creator to do their thing, Itch and Steam are meant to sell their content that has been released.

If you're unhappy with how fast he is releasing content, it is up to the people giving money, to voice concerns, or turn off the tap. Him pausing and starting is a bad look, ultimately at this stage of the game, he needs to figure out if he wants to make a go of this honestly, and either leave it unpaused, or shut it down.

Now with all that being said, I hope he starts the rest of his days stepping on lego.

Oh , i will even though i wouldn't want to do this , his behaviour will not change ,he doesn't seem to want to hire any assistants to help with the time (more people would increase the time it needs to produce an update ,then play test it fix any errors and then release it), he gives ridiculous excuses about the delays for the most part , so yes i will do delete WVM if he does not release the update in the next 13 days!!!

I am probably wrong with what i am about to say but i will ask, isn't this something like an investment?? I mean to my understanding Patreon is someone who funds a person to create something because he likes it, sure they don't buy it exactly but still they decided to somehow invest money to someones creation...
