Hmm yeah that's true, I think I didn't really pick up on that because it was still fairly benign IMO. Now that I think about it, I also didn't really care for it at these times, but again, wasn't really that bad. But yeah, could be that he's more open to more intense stuff like that than I considered.

For the record, BDSM relationships are not what they appear to people not into the lifestyle. In a good relationship, a sub is as much in control as the dom in the relationship. If the dom does not respect the sub's limits, he's not a good "master". Here's a good quote that defines equality in the relationship:

"With regards to equality, healthy BDSM relationships are based on the premise that both partners are equals and that one person consensually agrees to submit in a way that is mutually beneficial for them both. This submission is something that the bottom/submissive gives to the Dominant, and they have the right to take it back and walk away at any time. "

So, in regard to your other posts, he could be into dom/sub just as much as anyone else, especially if the lady he likes wants it, because he like equality and want to give her pleasure in a way that she likes.

Oh no, I know, you're right, I noticed immediately that I phrased that poorly. No, I get it, good BDSM is all about consent, so in that sense it could play very well in this game. It just felt to me that he might not be too comfortable with that, yeah he likes to please the women but he also doesn't seem too shy about expressing what he himself wants and he has, so far, never really expressed any interest in being either dominant or submissive when not prompted to be so by Rachael or Bailey.
So I would just have a hard time seeing him getting into the harder stuff because, even though it's based on consent, he might feel bad exerting too much dominance, even in a role-playing environment. Could be an interesting source of conflict though, if someone (possibly Willow? Idk why but just seems to me like she would be into that stuff) really wanted that and he wanted to do it for her but just didn't feel comfortable with it. Same the other way around, if someone wanted him to be submissive (also possible Willow xD), don't know how he'd feel about that.
So we'll see. The amount of characters BD has introduced that all feel very unique is already mind-boggling, you could go pretty much anywhere with this story at this point.

To be fair, not every dom/sub get into the harder stuff. Strangling (breath play) can be the limit for some girls. But I know what you mean.

I don't think it's as simple as "not liking trans". There's a bit of nuance to it that unfortunately intersects with the fetishes of others. Basically, from the looks of it, it can be boiled down to two simple but contradictory directions

Group A: Likes that Shauna is a transwoman for character reasons. In this group, Shauna's dysmorphia and her preference for men would make her unlikely to engage in penetrative sex with Jaime on her own volition.

Group B: Likes Shauna because of a preference for women with penises. In this group, the desire is to see Shauna use that penis for penetrative sex with the MC as well as other women. As one commenter earlier stated "why give her a dick if she's not going to use it".

From what I can see, this is the crux of the argument. In neither group is anyone opposed to trans-Shauna, and in fact has a preference for her, but they have very different ideals to how things will play out.

Well I'm a bit in both groups. When I started the game, and the option to make Shauna transgender came up, I was super excited, not because I thought this was basically gonna be a futa game, but because I would mean exploring a transgender character. So far, I haven't been disappointed, I think BrainDrop has really demonstrated some great skill in writing trans people and problems they may face with body dysmorphia and acceptance in society and all that (although, compared to the real world, it is somewhat unbelievable to me that Skye would just be accepted on a male basketball team, no questions asked).
That being said, if BD manages to write it in a believable way, and progresses slowly to it, I am also very excited about the possibilities that this three (or more) person relationship could explore with Shauna as both a penetrative and receptive partner and I really do want that to happen (and here I'm open to all, Jamie being the receptive partner, but also the MC or other girls, whatever, the more the merrier, yay inclusion). I want her to become more comfortable with her body in that way and I think it could be extremely hot, not least because of the character progression that would be needed to get to that point. But I don't want it to happen just so that we can have some nice futa porn, it has to be realistic.

So yeah, I don't think the people who play Shauna trans can be so easily separated into these two groups.

You fundamentally misinterpreted the subject of my post. I was not talking about people who play trans-Shauna, but people who were participating in the referenced argument. I was, essentially, summarizing the positions of each side to clarify the nature of the discussion as it is easily misinterpreted as a pro-trans/anti-trans argument.
