I do honestly hope there is some team rivalries and banter in person/social media, since MC joined a failed team, the other teams probably don't think MC could carry the rest to victory and of course be made fun of, or no one goes to the away games since they expect it to be a stomping. Shit like that.

This suspension of disbelief actively ruins all of the taboo elements of the story. It can't really be taboo or salacious if nobody gives a fuck and treats it like its normal.

Harper going from "don't hurt my daughter or I'll chop your balls off" to dribbling the mc's balls behind her daughter's back should be incredibly salacious, but it just isn't because nobody in the world has any real moral convictions and ultimately nobody in the story is going to give a flying fuck. Nat will forgive the MC quickly if she cares at all, Willabelle will let it slide because she's also going to fucking the MC. At a certain point it all just becomes masturbatory, and I'm not talking about the readers at home.

The MC's relationship with Rachael is also absolutely wild. She supposedly had the hots for him while he was underage, and waited around till the day that he was legal when she immediately starts fucking him and literally pimping him out to other women. It's an absolutely insane story that falls flat because in BDs world its not seen as incredibly taboo and downright predatory, its just wholesome business as usual. Not the MCs Moms, Sister, or loving girlfriends seem to call any of this into question. Racheal is a total scumbag and freak but you with how insane the story's world is, you might not even really realize it unless you step back and think about it. They don't even have to hide any of this from anyone, because nobody cares. Not the university, not your family, not that fella in the alley.

There are many more examples of how compelling this story is or could be when you put it in any real context. I don't even think the story is as bad as most people say, it's the world and the characters' vapidness that ruins it.

Well the whole Rachel 1st meet is so weird to my eyes in the way that some avn have with the whole succubus plot take over the apearence of someone the MC knows and trys to seduce him... At least that is what i thought the first 2 times I played the game , especially the way she looked the MC when he asked him if he wants to have sex etc...Then about what you said for Harper sure it's weird how she got from "If you hurt my daughter i will cut your balls of " to bending over and let him fuck her brains out ...But the whole game has it's flaws ... For example there is no way any real school championship could take place with only 5 players per team at least not where I am from ... and from all the college shows I have seen and some of the games I played any serious team has at least 1 physiotherapist for the players ...But yes my general opinion is that there is 0 story that is about basketball at least...If that game continues it will probably become one big sex orgy...

Yeah no way the milkman release anything before march, even releasing anything in march is pushing it. He did a lot this month so cut him some slacks will you.

Assassin's creed shadows has a better chance of dropping on march 20th and ubisoft is going through a potential lawsuit by japan and they have delayed it twice and potential bankruptcy and they will still release the game before bd does.

You know what's funny about this thread is that when an update comes out the thread goes into slow mode, activity drops a lot, and when BD starts acting silly and making the wait for the next update last forever this thread becomes super active.

Funny, I'm just saying... By the way, any news from BD or is the plan to play dead until the end of the month with the current excuse?

No news, as of yet. But you can make damn sure he will say something before the end of the month. You know he can't pass up milking his pledges so he will have to come up with some excuse in the coming days.

So, why did BD make the story so damn complex and melodramatic (all these characters have interconnected backstories, people have convenient amnesia or never asked obvious questions, there are shadowy conspiracies and ninjas, etc.)?

a. Was it because he thought a story about a basketball superstar with a huge dick and a harem of loving women was too boring by itself?
b. Was it because he thought he needed to explain why the MC gets all these women and all this special treatment?
c. Is it because he got bored with the old, simpler story?
d. Other?

I tend to think it is c. He got bored by late 2020, which is also why updates started slowing down. He doesn't care much about the original story anymore/he's already told the part of the story (the GF becoming a bottom bitch/cuckquean and the breeding business) that excited him originally, and that apathy is why some people think he got replaced. But I'm curious if anyone else has an alternative theory.
