I kinda disagree. On the part about it taking longer, sure of course .... however GH would still hit its target unlike WVM. Grandma's dev work ethics would still be the same. Not over-promising, keeping ahead of potential delays in updates, not scamming people, and still a better handle on pacing and writing in both fluff scenes and sex scenes. It's about work ethics.

Animations don't excuse anything going on with WVM. Nor even better renders. There are other titles doing both with better schedule and quality

This is how BD was early on, when he did monthly/bi-weekly releases. But BD, unlike MB, didn't want to make a porn game. So everything eventually unraveled when he tried to take what was basically a porn game and make it make sense. Now these past couple years he's been stuck trying to do just that. Reworking things, his perfectionism etc. He, badly, wants/wanted this to be more than just another 50 LI harem game. But he's in too deep to make that work.

You know, I keep seeing people bringing up BD's "perfectionsim" when discussing why his updates are always so incredibly late. I find it odd that a perfectionist would leave a render in his game advertising a rework with an early 2023 release date until October of 2024.

Dropping an update with 100 missing renders that were key to the plot after weeks of play testing. I’m sure there’s more but with BD there is always more.

It is though, once you remember he's also lazy as fuck. "Nothing I ever make will be good enough so I'll just make him have a black box for a head." That's right in line with similar decisions I've made with school projects.

He's admitted that the duck faces thing is trolling, and Katie was reworked to be a replacement for Ceder (which only a perfectionist would think he needs in the first place). As for bigger asses, I don't think that's indictive either way.
