Why is Jax made out to be some guy we are supposed to hate when he's exactly the same as the MC?
Jax talked smack before playing - MC talked smack before playing
MC talks about wanting to punch out Jax - Jax calls MC hollywood.
MC is constantly fighting people - Jax had a dirty foul against skye
Jax talks about getting with MCs girlfriends - MC talks about getting with Jax girlfriends
At this point i kind of want the story to switch to Jax's POV about him feeling remorse for his actions and some character growth and then the rest of the story about how he wins all the MCs girlfriends through actually being a stand up guy.
Also, the MC has for sure never played a high school game of BBall due to him tackling Jax on the court after the foul. That dude would have been ejected so fast he wouldn't be able to be the national star he apparently is. Jax's and MC suspensions should have been reversed due to Jax's happening during an actual play and the MCs being flagrent after play has stopped. I expect the AVN to end soon because the MC doesn't make it to the league and his college career being over due to his actions.

I kind of figured we were the villain in the story when it's not even a day in and we've already cheated on our girlfriend with three different women... (maybe more they aren't even on the RV yet). One good thing though... it's a Ren'Py title with fast forward so you can always skip being the bad guy.
Imagine he uses it so much in half a year, when you try to ask for something from chatgpt it starts to make excuses, or just sends you a loading gif to keep you there.

BD gave a sneak preview of the dev report, he's added 200 whole renders and 4 animations since August 21st.

i bet he at least will split that in three parts if not more.
the last time he brought out an update bigger than a few hundred renders was i think in 2023 at the beginning of the year with 2000 renders.

Yes, this is what I fear. He will find out a last minute mistake which will force him to release only a small update and delaying the other renders till next year.

At this point, BD should quit the whole project and try to do something else entirely...It's clear as day to me at least that he does not love what he does and the only reason he does it is for money...So he should quit it and find a different means of making money...Weird fact is why people keep believing his excuses and promises...
yeah thats the weird part.
they only writing with him in a chat channel,they don´t know him personally and nobody ever saw him and in reallity they sure as fuck not know what a personality this guy has.
but they act like they are lifetime friends or gone to school together or something like that.
heck for all we know he could be a woman or the game dev could have changed several times already.

Just remember everyone, it means diddly squat whenever this update finally comes out and it's 1600+ renders since it was supposedly "done" in 2023 or some shit. It's the following update cycle that'll be the deciding factor on whether or not BD is seen as getting his shit together.
Like it or hate the coming update, but don't rush to sub to him again (assuming you were) until he shows through devlogs/communication and NEW render previews that he's committed to correcting course. I got no problem waiting 10-12 months for a 1600-2000+ render update as long as it's consistent and good quality but he's shown that 5-6 months can go by and we have gotten 300 renders or less because "I'm reworking the rest of the update since i wasn't happy with it" or "there was some technical issues with packaging the update so here's 300 renders".

Well, I agree with the first part but in my honest opinion if the dev has changed several times so far already , BD would not even post anything on the game's discord and he would not even bother give excuses...At least that is my view of the subject

Yeah... but what are the odds of a developer constantly scurrying to not even met goals halfway, and obviously procrastinating at times, delivering that volume with quality ? I'd say just expect the usual updates he has delivered the past 2 years ... either in mini parts or one big fat dump but still below the expected output

Honestly, I’m kinda surprised you even mention “reconsider supporting him.” Like, at this point he really shouldn’t be getting any money or subs from anyone until he actually delivers the work he was already supposed to do.

Kinda why I wanted to remind people that even if he were to dump a 2000 render update, it mainly consists of renders that were supposedly done over a year and a half ago, so it's hard to say how much actual work got done in these past 7 to however many months it takes to drop this next update.
Like i said above, just reminding people not to jump the gun when he drops a 2000 render update that was largely done a long time ago. Next update cycle will be the main tell on whether or not he can finally follow through on his talks of "being better". Since who knows when this reworked early chapters will get done.

I would agree with you on : " I got no problem waiting 10-12 months for a 1600-2000+ render update as long as it's consistent and good quality " but during the period i wait for it I would like once a month to see a report about the progress , the way he is been handling things does not give us a lot of hope for good things....
