It's odd that X-change 2 R doesn't sound like it was included.

Either way, hopefully this might mean they'll look at translating "X-change Alternative 2", as well as "Yin-Yang! X Change EX", and bundle it together with the already translated "Yin-Yang! X-Change Alternative".

otoh X-change 1-3 including the R versions were all made by the same staff but they weren't involved in the Alternative series, which had a different set of staff for each game who apparently all had trouble with sticking to title naming conventions. sooooooo who knows

The save files wont work for me. Even when i delete the whole folder, my old saves are still in the game with the progress and the 100% persistant file wont do anything about it ...
Anyone any ideas?

I heard that X Change 3 in the collection is not completely uncensored, or am I very wrong about it?

oh wow - I worked on the original localization of this series many many years ago. Pretty crazy that it's still relevant and providing entertainment to people out there!

I'm on linux so use unrpa and unrpyc individually. It's been a hot minute, but I did remember having troubles with initially unpacking. I think they managed to futz with the archive header enough to break the automatic detection of rpa format version. So you have to force the version by hand.

Code:
~ $ unrpa -h
usage: unrpa [-h] [-v] [-s] [-l | -t] [-p PATH] [-m] [--version]
             [--continue-on-error] [-f VERSION] [-o OFFSET] [-k KEY]
             FILENAME [FILENAME ...]

Extract files from the RPA archive format (from the Ren'Py Visual Novel
Engine).

positional arguments:
  FILENAME the archive(s) to extract.

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
-v, --verbose explain what is being done, duplicate for more
                        verbosity (default: 1).
  -s, --silent no non-essential output.
-l, --list list the contents of the archive(s) in a flat list.
-t, --tree list the contents of the archive(s) in a tree view
-p PATH, --path PATH extract files to the given path (default: the current
                        working directory).
-m, --mkdir will make any missing directories in the given
                        extraction path.
--version show program's version number and exit

advanced arguments:
Options that most users don't need, but might allow working with
  unsupported or damaged archives.

--continue-on-error try to continue extraction when something goes wrong.
  -f VERSION, --force VERSION
ignore the archive header and assume this exact
                        version. Possible versions: RPA-1.0, RPA-2.0, RPA-3.0,
                        ALT-1.0, ZiX-12A, ZiX-12B, RPA-3.2, RPA-4.0.
  -o OFFSET, --offset OFFSET
ignore the archive header and use this exact offset.
-k KEY, --key KEY ignore the archive header and use this exact key.
IIRC the rpa version was old, but I don't remember if it was RPA-1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 from the above.

Anyone had any success using unren on this?
