To get onto the Serum storyline you have to get a facial as a stripper and take the damage it does. If you go to Dredd at a later date, he will tell you that he is sorry it went too far and that you can only dance again if you take a brand new Anti-Serum. Accept and you are in this storyline.

Here is a hint to get more anti-serum during the basketball game, either get good at the blackjack mini-game or max out your Fitness with working-out in the gym and drinking coffee (I think).

I've seen quite a lot of new comments and reviews across the net about the game's lack of plot or motivation - I am keeping it free-form for now, while I work on the central mechanics of the game. Though, to the people saying the player needs more motivation to take gender-swapping pills like being forced or compelled into it... I don't fully agree there. I would like to keep some aspects of just taking pills and transforming because you want to.
On this site, we're used to dark, brooding games about fucked-up lives and no way out - I do want to have there be a "fun" aspect in XCL where the player will transform for a wide variety of reasons, including just for the hell of it. Like, just running to the pharmacy, buying a pill, and going home to masturbate in a different body for no reason other than it's fun. I will definitely be adding more motives, sticky situations, and an actual plot, but I want that core freedom to still be there.

Protip: Use the snipping tool to take a snip of the 'Leads' screen after you have researched the company fully. That way you have something to quickly reference back to when trying to make a sale. Just something to keep in mind to help in case you can't remember client details.

100% agree, and this game does have both aspects of choosing to take the pills, and being forced to. As for plot, the pills are the plot device, there doesn't need to be an additional setting put in place when the game is a choose your own adventure type.
Currently, I would rather more scenes for the pill jobs, than time wasted on a needless story.
You can also use notepad to copy and paste the info. Takes less time than using the snipping tool and means you don't accidentaly forget to delete a picture.
I like and deeply respect this. I do feel there might be a somewhat comfortable middle ground, where other characters encourage you without forcing you. For example, you could start dating a girl (maybe one from the bar) who thinks it'd be fun to have a beach day where you're on the pill – and maybe she is too? Either way, that could enable hijinks a character wouldn't ordinarily get involved in without prompting, but simultaneously avoid noncon and maintain a lighter atmosphere.
To be clear, I'm extremely happy with the game as it stands (also ironically quite into noncon – the stepdad storyline is my favorite part of the game so far). I'm just saying there might be a way to get the best of both worlds, even within the same storyline.
I reckon there's already too much story. The random encounter stuff is good, the work pills are good, the gym scenes are fantastic, but there's way too much text involved with the Stripper Pill. I have no real idea why you can't bang Gabbie as a dude after it, and unless I'm missing something would expect to be able to avoid that outcome (probably tied to masc/fem?)
One suggestion would be around the old vs new style of sex scene, the old ones being those without an "active sex" system. I say keep producing them in the old style as well, and have thresholds in the masc/fem scale where sex scenes go from "something that happens to you" to "something you participate in". The goal here would be after a bit of training, you could blow the socks off the pharmacist/paul blart while still retaining the existing borderline noncon scenes. Further, the bar scenes as a male could bleed into femdom territory with low masc (before / instead of being cut off entirely)
This game, and In Her Own Hands are what I'd consider to the be the premier games on this site. XCL in particular is a rare treat where the development is mechanically driven, and it really shows. I would hate for it to get bogged down in needless one-shot story archs that take ages (IRL) to progress, where prompts + imagination more than suffice
Keep up the good work and show that there's more to adult games than blue-balling paypigs

This is what really separates XCL from the other porn games out there. Aphrodite puts a lot of thought into game mechanics and what would be fun & hot to play, where a lot of other games start with a backstory, a setting, or some random scenarios that it would be cool to have. The latter is how you get a story, or at best a VN, and the former is how you make a game. </simp>

Hey does anybody know if you can actually fuck Holly (Dredd's girl) as a man or is not implemented yet? I've tried a few different things but the end is always the same.

There's also the fact that you can't fuck Dred's girl anymore after she meets you in the Basketball/Injection event. Since from thereafter, she doesn't see you as a man anymore, no matter what your choices are on the event line.
If you wanna fuck her, you gotta do it before you go with Dred for the first time to that villa.
Otherwise, you get locked out from fucking her.
