That seems to be a rare RNG thing. The people you meet in the bar are coming according to random numbers. So you might all possible ones during a game. Abby not showing up is a rare dice thing, should change in another game. You can see Abby before and after the events at Dredd´s, you just cannot fuck her anymore.
BTW, it is not that Abby does not see you as a man any longer, even if she jokes about that (she herself tested out a blue pill once), it is you who cannot pursue her any longer to go into bed. It is in the text after the event you get the first anti-serum, where it is told that now you feel a strange connection with Abby and cannot fuck her any longer.

Not sure what you've already got planned, but on the dom side of things, it would be pretty hot if you could flip the tables and run Bruce out of money playing cards, then offer to have him take an Xchange and spend the night with you as a final bet. Take a note straight out of Dredd's book
Their last post (from what I can see) was from April 5th on SubscribeStar, don't see a patreon or anything else. They've posted here or on TF more recently, so I imagine it's still alive and well but I'm curious where this update is coming from?

People have said before the dev is active on subscribestar. It is strange though as they seemed to be quite quick with updates - and then nothing for a bit. Oh well
Dev seems to be focusing on getting the game up and running as a hosted service online, like many other RP games do eventually. I do understand up to some extent, real porn games in general tend to get very few subscribers, mainly due to the fact that they are built upon stolen work (the pics and video) in the first place, which most people can simply get if they wanted to.
Hi all - sorry I've been so heads-down just coding. X-Change Life 0.16 has now gone into playtesting (the main thing it is adding is NPC sex scenes, and a free-roam of the house during chores). The new systems are quite in-depth and will need some work before the official release.
