Feature creep is real. To be fair, also sometimes great in passion projects like this, always cool to see someone expanding on stuff, adding more depth because it's what they want/think is best for their project, but... Yeah, can always stretch those release windows a bit.
Any time someone wants to play the most current, cutting edge version of the game they can head to gitgud.io/xchange-life and follow the instructions, it's not hard or time-consuming and updating in the future is very fast. The source code is freely available and you can modify it however you want if that's your thing. You don't have to wait for an official, numbered release if you want new XCL.

The best way to to just play with them. Most will work fine. Very few will break things and if they do, most errors are just annoying messages on the screen.
Order of mods matter, sometimes putting "bugged" mod later in list can fix such errors.

When you download the game directory from git there is a folder called "storyformats" with the correct version. You just copy the files into the " Tweego\storyformats\harlowe-3 ", overwriting the ones that are there.

I think that if you cant pay Bruce there is going to be a added story where he'll do more to you or maybe even pimp you later in the game. I think that I read some where back in the thread that its in the works. however I could be very wrong.

I like to think Summer City (the setting of the game) is one big NTR, since anyone can be dosed almost anywhere with varies side-effects that makes one agreeable to random hookups. Even being a woman doesn't make one safe, since as a XC woman I was still able to take the Secretary pill and endure with it's work/pleasure side-effect. And if someone is willing to waste a pill at the club just for the chance of some bathroom fun, I got to believe there's a ton of x-change pills on the market for cheap.
