Models are great, writing is fun, the only blemish on this is Tyrano, which continues to offer a bad experience for end users (as I understand it's easier to work with for authors than Ren'Py, though). Not being able to make text appear instantaneously when I can read as fast as Data on LCARS is the bane of my existence, especially when coupled with the engine's seemingly random tendency to stop registering mouse clicks for a while and needing the keyboard to proceed. Most Tyrano games I therefore tend to chuck in the bin without a further look since it's just not worth it, but this series is different.
I may even mentally steel myself and sit down to patiently double click through all of this, can't bestow higher praise than that.

Any chance of some sort of volume control? Some of the sound effects and soundtracks are quite a bit louder than others, and it would be nice to avoid blowing out my eardrums when using headphones.
I got a real kick out of the Ghostbusters sequence. Was the MC just suggesting a plan based on a movie, or are the events of the Ghostbusters movie actual events in this game's universe?

I know exactly what you mean and I’ve done my best to get the volume in the game down to a more manageable level, and will tinker around with it some more in the next update. I’ll also see what I can do about adding volume control for the player as well.
Glad you liked the Ghostbusters homage. I wasn’t sure if people would love it or hate it. In this universe the Ghostbusters were real.

It's a great game, models are good. Story is fun and well balanced. Just the right amount of text. I was a little disturbed at the beginning that crowds were just white model with no textures, but it turns out it's an elegant solution to save render time and you get used to it pretty quickly.
I just hope there will be more sex scenes with Troi & Crusher, and that it won't be "one episode = 1 new sex partner". I also would like MC to cuck Riker with the young enseign he was showing his musical instrument to, and I'd also like an episode with a space virus turning the crew into sex beasts, allowing us to see some kind of orgy scenes. I'm always rapidly bored if in a game the MC is the only one to fuck. So please show me other males fucking women of the crew if you can find a cool story for it.
I'd also like some MMF (or MMMMMMMF and everything in between) scenes with our 2 leading ladies. Nooo. "Pip" is an OG Character. T'Pol is mentioned in a flashback sequence.
Which Vulcan? T'Pol does appear in the game briefly, but the Vulcan you're banging is an original character named T'Pan.
I wasn't sure if people would enjoy the GB reference or not. To me it was just too fun not to do it.
So... there's definitely more to the backstory with the MC, and also with Beverly (and Troi). I don't know how much of it will actually make it in game, but there's definitely a lot there. The game is filled with hints, both in the main story, but also in the various story branches and game over scenes. So it's definitely worth replaying and trying different choices just to see what happens. Some of the branches are pretty wild.

1.) There's definitely going to be more action with Crusher and Troi. Crusher will the the sole focus of episode 5, and then we'll move on to X-Trek III: Ménage à Troi, which will give you a threeway with Troi and Crusher, as well as threeways with some of the other characters.
2.) You'll certainly get the chance to cuck Will with the girl he was showing his trombone to. I'm running a poll on my Patreon right now for who my Patrons want to see next, and she's on the list (her name is Jen'Ko).
3.) The virus thing is interesting. I might use it in a side story. TOS and TNG had similar stories, so it's not canon-breaking by any stretch of the imagination.
4.) I totally get what you're saying about being bored by MF/MFF stuff, but the truth is I'm honestly pretty vanilla when it comes to the sex stuff. I'll never say never, but so far it has never crossed my mind to bring another male character into the story. At least not to be involved with one of the player's love interests. I totally agree these games are many times ways for players to live out a fantasy. I can respect that, and I that's exactly the experience I want to provide.
5.) I definitely want to bring in a few more characters, like Worf and Wesley Crusher, so be on the lookout. Wesley especially is going to have a hilarious scene at the end of episode 5.

3.) Yeah I remembered there was an episode like this in TNG. And to join my other point about MMF, I'm open for everything in this area, but I know you and some of the players aren't so I don't need a fully fleshed rival or friend for MC to share the women, but if Troi or Crusher have sex with another guy, the easiest way of doing it without annoying too many people, is thru an event like the space sex virus/gas. This way, it's not because MC is suddenly a beta, it's because everyone is attracted to everyone. I'll even be ok if it's a dream, or a holodeck scene. But story wise it would be weaker imho.
Other things that are purely personal taste that I can live with but don't enjoy (because rendering these scenes takes time away from rendering scenes I like) : lesbian scenes and feet stuff. How are you on this front ? Is it your thing ? Do you plan stuff like this ?
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but there was only 1-2 sex scenes per episode. In terms of rythm, and to have more chances to match more people's taste, I think it would be better to have 2-4 scenes. It would represent a bit more work, but you could also cut one position or 2 from long sex scenes to save time. I know I won't mind as long as you keep bjs and facial. Because if there's only one sex scene and the player is not into this particular girl, then he has to wait for next episode to really enjoy it.
And don't feel forced to make each sex scene the same length and intensity, that's what killing porn movies for me. In vintage porn movies, there were 7-9 scenes, all of various length from 3mn to 20mn and it was a nice variety.
Nothing refrains you from doing a full sex scene with Crusher, followed a bit later with a short bj scene with MC and some enseign, for example. What's even better is that it would allow sex scenes to be more interlaced with the story. In my example, the bj scene could be short because MC & the girl are doing it in some place they shouldn't be, and they have to stop because Picard enters the room, so they hide and they hear something they shouldn't have heard which then advances the story.
Stuff like this, if not always possible, is always more enjoyable than "story finished, now time for sex scene in a bed, then story continues". A bit of excitement is added if characters are not always having sex in a bedroom. Unless it's not their bedroom, and they can be surprised by someone

I stopped updating on gamejolt because the game doesn’t run smoothly due to its size. I’ll try uploading the next update for you on there and we’ll see what happens, but I don’t have much faith it will provide a very good experience for players.

when I copy old saves from last version into the folder, the game won't start.

is there a way to transfer saves or do I have to start from 0 ?

Hey, buddy. For whatever reason, with the Tyrano engine the saves never port over with a new build, so with each new release you now have the option of starting from the newest episode.yay. new update

When you start the game, it will ask if you’ve played X-Trek before. Just click yes and you’ll have the option to start from Episode 3 (or 2 or 1). And if you’re a member of Patreon, chapter 4.1 is already available.
