LOL come on... the earrings in a heterosexual male, are the most common thing in the majority of the culture in a lot of countries and actually in video games, animes, movies, series, and the real world in general. examples: (Dragon Ball: Vegito and the Kaios. Demon Slayer (the MC), One Piece... etc) - Games: (Link from Zelda games and NPCs and all the RPGs that used earrings in the equipment, like Diablo games, Souls Saga, Castlevania, All the male characters from Final Fantasy games, Elves from World of Warcraft... etc, etc...) Pirates??, lol. and go on. Also, the mc is an ancestral creature of another universe, maybe earrings there is the most common shit to wear.
Regarding the face, the design was inspired by androgynous people with soft features, like Griffith in Berserk, Link of Zelda, the Necromancer class in Diablo, Kenshin Battousai,
Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, Legolas and all the Elves from the Lord of the Ring (btw he use long hair... lol), etc. I've even played games where developers designed MC characters that look like children and that's not only weird, it's sick as fuck, but normal for a lot of people just for the weird fantasy...
That's why I find it curious that you find it weird the earrings and the face design of the MC. It seems more like criticism just to screw around than wanting to add value to development. Or maybe, just maybe you lack culture.
If what you like are strong men with beards and who have more "masculine" features there are too, don't worry, there is something for everyone. And if you are one of those who buy Woke propaganda, then stay because there are even fat people xD.
