If anyone's passive in this game, it's the girls. They might invite the MC out or back to their place but the relationship never progresses unless he makes a move on them. I hope it's different for Kim - I want to see her actually make an effort to win him back instead of just hoping he wants to get back together.

And calling Zeke & Keyla stupid is an understatement. I can't understand why Keyla would agree to marry him despite knowing that he's cheated on her multiple times or why he would propose to her in the first place. If she had broken up with him, he would have been free to fuck all the sorority girls he wanted. The only logical explanation is that he didn't want the MC to have her.

There is reference from Zeke, and I think Keyla too, as to some "desperation" event that led to Zeke proposing. It hasn't been explored or expanded on yet though.

And Keyla was cheating on Zeke with the MC, so it's not like her hands were really clean. Neither were apparently in the marriage for love or interest, will have to wait and see if the Dev puts a lot more meat on that part of the story.

There's also a moment where Zeke says Julia looks at the MC with the same look "someone" used to look at him. It may be Kim he's referring to, but I do think he means Keyla.
I think this desperation was that he knew Keyla and MC were doing stuff, and she was going to break up with him, so he proposed to her so she wouldn't.
Maybe it doesn't make much sense, but it's what I can think of too

I would argue Zeke is worse. Keyla cheated with the MC because she was still in love with him while Zeke is a serial cheater. But that's not really the point, it's more about why he would be so desperate to prevent her from breaking up with him.

Yes, this seems to be the most likely explanation but the question remains: Why would Zeke be so desperate to keep hold of her knowing this? I doubt it's because he loved her since he cheated on her constantly. This game seems to be trying to tell a serious story with believable characters (and it does for the most part) but the whole Zeke/Keyla thing just seems completely illogical.

You ever actually met people and been in relationships with them?

Most of the people I klnow and have ever known I wonder wtf they are doing together. This isn't unrealistic or unbelievable at all. It's actually the norm.

People in real life really are as dumb, crazy and unfathomable as in soap opera's. You just have to open your eyes and take notice. Never heard the phrase 'behind closed doors'?

Ever heard of the word 'melodrama'? Soaps intentionally exaggerate things to make them more interesting. A TV show about normal couples living their mundane lives would be boring.

She did, at least in a previous version. She undressed in front of the MC in the hotel room to try and entice him.
I believe this was changed. Either he can now rebuke her, or she won't do it depending on their previous dialog. I don't remember which.

I mean ive heard of a guy getting married to his AI girlfriend he created or something like that so people doing crazy shit and illogical things when it comes to relationships would not surprise me at all

Yes, that's true. But she didn't try anything else despite sleeping in the same bed as the MC.

I don't dispute that some people marry out of feeling obligated to do so but Zeke and Keyla's situation is still illogical and absolutely not the norm. Zeke cheats on her constantly, suspects she might be doing the same with the MC and proposes to her because... he's desperate to prevent her from leaving him? I mean, come on... if he had been with her a long time or she was rich, it would make more sense. I don't see how being with her is convenient or expected for him.

in real life we have stories of lawsuits between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and also Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood. so real life is waaaaayyyyy much worse.
