Well, I doubt all the stuff that was on yiff.party just came from a few users. I'm sure more people would than you think. Honestly, I would love to support some artists I like, but so many of them have this irritating tendency to put their art in "packs." It's archaic. It's like how you used to have to buy a whole CD just to get one song you wanted. It doesn't have to be that way anymore though. If they'd sell individual pictures instead of having packs at $10 each, I'd probably support a lot more, but I'm not paying that kind of money when I'm only interested in 1 or 2 pics.
Even with a paid version of yiff.party, you'd be paying for access to a huge variety of content and not just one artist that may or may not be making stuff that appeals to you that month.

Oh, kemono.party has an import from yiff.party option. Now, if only either of them worked worth a shit.

Since the script calls for using bash as the interpreter, you need to use
bash yiffdl.sh <patreon id>
Which is only really helpful IF THE SITE WASN'T DOWN
Someone in the forums of kemono claim they have yiff.party backup of about 280 artists but no way to upload them. I'm gonna keep watching both sites. If they both happen to start working at the same time, I'll import as much as I can from yiff to kemono.
Oh, for anyone looking for real-life stuff, cosplay, ASMR, etc., kemono.party explicitly forbids it. It wasn't supposed to be on yiff.party either and some people speculated that could've contributed to the owner wanting to shut it down.

That's basically just projection from salty furries. The yiff.party exclusions policy was very clear, saying that real life stuff needed to be a certain amount of cosplay, allowing for ASMR, etc. Not to mention the implementation of the report system.
e: And if kemono's restrictions are that narrow, all the more reason yiff.party needs a different replacement to fill its niches.

Site is back mostly for me. I keep getting a 522 error but that's my shit refusing to connect. The little icon is back to normal for me so im fucking pumped. This time im not going to take the site for granted.
Trying to import from YiffParty is very much a tease and a exercise in excuses at the same time. I get to see "success" followed sometimes by the issue code (to report site errors), but its mostly a runaround of 525, 524, or 502 errors.

i saw this coming so i backed up most of my favorites that have either been removed from pateron or the expensive ones or the super good ones that i get for free after finding yiff, but alas i am human and ain't got all day. some that ain't available anymore r gone for good.. but oh well.. guess i go back to paying for stuff, only for myfav's future content that is... some of the forever gone stuff i was still unable to save.
for reference im talking about the likes of Chifudoon/nanigore and etc wabikohelderofgaping rigormortis, etc super rare but goood but gone forever stuff cuz artist hdd died[ can't remember the names lmao xd]that also includes stuff i haven't discovered yet, on yiff.. to bad they wilbe gone for goodd now, :/ well you only have 1 life.., and porn aint the only thing on yiff... that is gone forever ,that archive had shit we will never be able to get anymore, yiff grew bigger when it started with just furry and became much more.. all that archive shit is gonna go poof now

maybe it did at timezones i was off.. to bad

Honestly, this was not a nice move from the admin!!! If he is lost interest, at least he could have warned us, one month before closing the website. Now mostly no one can assess to back up/scrap content. He is not even willing to transfer it to somebody else claiming it would cost a lot, while there will be people who would pay for it, especially once who donated for servers upkeep, probably. Also, he said that servers are unpaid, meaning that he most likely took all of the money for himself from the last donations.

I do not know how difficult it has to be to transfer the web to another person who continues to keep it alive so that we can continue to access our favorite content, import and donate. I want to believe that he has not wanted to pass it on to someone and does not want to give the code, because maybe he thinks about returning at some point later in the future. You may say right now that you shut it down completely because you feel stressed, overwhelmed, and change your mind later. I think that he has to have a huge archive full of all the content and all the files of the page that was officially created by him, in case he decides to return the web. If you do not want to continue with it, you could stop updating but leave all the content that you have from so many years.
