Oh no, I was absolutely not shaming anything or anyone, my bad english did that, sorry.
I was specifically speaking of that game and that playthrough. I restarted just to check, and Ruby is presented as your roommate, not your sister, and you have a landlord, not a mom. My first play would have been drastically different if it were stated as mom and sister. in my opinion (and in my opinion only), a good guy should not fuck his sister or mom. I was just saying that this transformation is deeply disappointing for me and i wish there was a way to delete the family thing.

EDIT: and of course I was planning a second play with a bad guy, doing everything possible ;)

Roommate and landlady almost always mean sister and mom, it's done because of Patreon rules. I mean, does "OMG WTF I can't have sex with my roommate!!!" really make sense?

The roommate landlady is to avoid patreon and others platform censorship and is a incest related lingo.

As I said the MC is NOT related in a spiritual sense being a different person in the brother/son body.

I didn't know about that landlady/roommate thing in video games. For me, it was just a silly and kinky stuff as seen in countless porn: stupid but eh! who cares? How naive I was ^^
But after all the patience and romantic stuff my MC did in the first season to focus on and finally get the gorgeous Ruby, I was "shocked" by the blunt truth exposed in season 2. I would have gone after someone else if I knew (and once again, in a nice guy game). And I will :cool:
Anyway, great game, cool "nice" path, very beautiful model with Ruby and Grace.

Edit: patch removed (it works, thanks), but yeah in the second season it's a lot more obvious that they are brother and sister (the landlady crying because you love Ruby..."I'm a terrible landlady!" LOL). Not my kink, new game with another target.

Edit2: yeah, but no. You can't do nothing with Ruby, and now i know she's the sister, the game is ruined for me.

But the MC isn't really related to the landlady and roommate, but they don't know that. Remember, the MC was not supposed to die at the beginning of the game and a benevolent spirit saved his soul and put it in another's body with the requirements that he now had to fix some things that had gone wrong. So spiritually, Emma is his daughter and physically, Ruby is his sister.

Yeah I know, I got that part ^^
But still, I have a strong taboo with sisters and mothers (but not a girl and her mother :devilish:). I wish I could unsee all that part in this game, it was great before. Shame.

(not directly about this game: could you give me names of games where you can play a "good" guy and still do some fun stuff? No blackmail, no strong dark corruption, and no "MC-incest"? Thanks.)

But most incest haters dislike the corruption aspect. The relationship with Ruby felt organic, sure his daughter could be considered a little much.

Then again I'm a kinky fucker.

And being pedantic Ruby is committing incest, the Mc is just a stranger in her brother body.

Did you check out Rovering to Sussex, the other game Zargon's creates the art for? While it has few options where you can be a bad guy to some extent, it is mostly good and friendly and the optional incest is not related to the MC and if you disable it, you won't get incest with just some words replaced, but still a coherent, canon story.

Not sure about that correlation. I like the i tag but dislike corruption and it's sister (NPI) tags. For me they are usually opposites - most i games are more about loving relationships whereas corruption games are more predatory/abusive. There are of course exceptions, but I have rarely seen the two overlapping (maybe because I avoid games with corruption).

And you're a brave man admitting you're a peda. :LOL:

Like you, I also like incest games and I dislike corruption.

But!

The thing is, that the incest IS, in a way, the corruption.

In a well written incest game, like this one, both MC and the LI need to overcome the taboo. Overcoming the taboo is what makes it interesting, but it is still a form of corruption. Even if the corruption is not visible to outsiders (like the classic corruption tropes e.g. slutty clothes, fake boobs etc.) and even if the relationship (apart from the incest) remains relatively wholesome.

To me it remains amazing how people can refer to "incest harem" games as "wholesome", but somehow it is common to think that.

You make a good point. I guess I just perceive the 'corruption' games to be more "forcing" (blackmail, etc.) than "convincing" as it seems to be in well-written incest games. But I have seen more than one incest game that includes darker paths with blackmail (even the Mia games started that way, and those are both at the top of my list along with this one and a few others) - I just typically avoid those. So maybe sampling bias makes me see incest games as more "wholesome" than they really are overall? But even I would never call an incest game "wholesome" - I am not delusional. :LOL:

There is a fine line between forcing and convincing. There is also a fine line between seduction and romance. They are also not always mutually exclusive and the one that may seem morally wrong doesn't have to be so.

It's a complicated topic. I have come to a conclusion of sorts: it depends on the goal. The goal (at least partially) justifies the means.

In this game, the MC is generally "good" or at least "neutral" to the end goals of the girls (as far as we know them). In many other games, the MC is just acting out of self-interest and doesn't really care what happens with the girls.

In pure corruption games, the main girl (MC or LI) doesn't end up in a better place then she would have without the players involvement.
