I've encountered the bug as well but I never gave anyone a porn mag. Never even bought one. I can replicate the bug by trying to buy a book and not having enough money. I finished reading the book that increases affection, tried to buy another book that I didn't have enough money for and had the bug.

Ah, got it! Thank you for pinpointing what causes it, fixed now.

Like the other bug of this, it will be fixed in the next version by attempting to read a book in your room.

I think that first release must have taken you a long time. How many hours of gameplay do you think we'll get on the next release?

This first version took over a year. This is the first game I've made, and I haven't had a lot of relevant experience, so a portion of that time was just me learning the ropes. But it was a colossal undertaking.

I'm currently planning to do small, frequent updates, rather than large, sporadic ones. Also the next release is mostly bug fixes and tweaks, with just a bit of new content.

So with that in mind, individual releases will not be hours of gameplay. If you prefer a bigger updates, I suggest waiting til the version number rolls up (e.g to v0.6). At that point, each main character will be up to relationship level 5, some side characters will get another scene, some new ones will be introduced, some more random events added, etc.

thanks to this thread i found your game, and after playing it now for a little while i really have to say that i really love it! keep up your good work!

there's a bug with the smartphone, seems like all messages from the MC are invisible. don't know if this was already reported i didn't look in the thread (shame on me if it is already reported)

I encountered that bug a few days ago, it seems to only occur if you change the MC's name. I think that's why no one else has reported it yet - it seems most people stick with the default suggestion. Did you name your character something other than Rose?

At the moment, texting is not big part of the game, so you're not missing out on a huge amount. However, if you (or anyone else experiencing this bug) have met Alex, and they text you at night, I suggest telling them it's not a good time to put the scene off - that one you'll really want to see both sides of!

This bug has been fixed in v0.51, and you'll be able to carry on from an existing save with it fixed.

Did you name your character something other than Rose?

yes i changed her name at the beginning, and no problem just wanted to make sure if this was already a known bug except the little bug i can say i'm almost finished with your current version and it's really awesome.

i read that this is your first game? damn the pole dance and shower animation for example are even better than claras love hotel!

Speaking of the phone, it is not really a bug but if you are playing with keyboard, you can't see which respond option you are choosing, because phone choices do not have a highlighted state

I played through the game multiple times already and i am amazed with all little changes in dialogues depending on your actions and how far did you go with other characters. Amazing work!

Thank you, I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! It is my first game. To be honest though I really can't take much credit for the animations - they come built in to studio neo/honey select 2. If you play other games made with it you'll likely recognise some animations. It's also the only reason I, as an almost complete beginner, was even able to include animations!

Incidentally, a question for you and anyone else doing multiple plays (minor spoilers for the first party): How many characters have you seen masturbate at the truth or dare party? Because there's a max of 3: one mandatory, one pretty easy to get, and one extremely difficult to get. Just curious if anyone got the third one!

I did not find it difficult to find and it was really a very good surprise when the scene started !!

i could only respond one time and that worked, so that wasn't the problem i guess it was the fact i changed the mc's name like chekkingames said.

Yeah, there's two ways Alice can realise she's bicurious. Either by reaching level 3 with her, or at the sleepover party. With the former, she's fairly calm, since it's been a gradual realisation with someone she's comfortable with. If it's the latter, she'll be a bit more freaked out, since it's a more sudden shock for her to discover about herself.

Really happy people are replaying to see the other ways things can pan out, makes it all worth it
