i hope there was a way for me to support this [VN] but unfortunately for few reasons i can't do the patreon or subscribestar
the only way convenient for me to support devs here is through steam but not directly (Germany -_-) but through purchasing steam keys from kinguin which is the only place that sells adult VNs, even for games i'm not interested in i usually try to purchase as many keys available as i can

I have to say,cool game. I still got to ask what is up with some of the girls expressions?. a few look like devils in a red dress. What I mean. Sharon for instance gets this sexy albeit scary look as if she has some nefarious agenda planned out for Lisa, like she is a demon in disguise and she is trying to awaken Lisa's inner demon. LOL. Sexy but also scary, its the arched eyebrow look maybe that is giving me that impression. Still it does make me wonder if there are any paranormal things going on. Fun to speculate. No matter how far off base I most likely am.

Resident Post: Moving Into Phase 3, Gina's Game and Something Bothering Me.
Happy hump day everyone! ^_^
It FEELS like hump day! I've slept like 6 hours total this week so far lol! Working on Lisa non-stop of course though I'm definitely getting an early night tonight :d
Alright so that's another super productive week in the bag, phases 1, 2 and the phase 2 interlude are finished along with 70 (for now) new faces which are all implemented though there are still many renders to complete / fix. Each image is taking around 40m - 1hr to render so I'm only getting a handful during the days and with so many of the final images consisting of 5-6 sometimes more renders it's lengthy but it isn't hindering progress at all (yet), just upping my electric bill! ^_^
Last week I think I mentioned that there were to be a lot of phases but I'm starting to reconsider that a little. I have been thinking of time skipping a little of the party with just some random CGs to signify that things were happening just to push the progress along a bit. I just don't want the party to feel like there's no connection so the groundwork for each character has to be laid at least somewhat for any urgency or intensity to be achieved later. I haven't fully decided either way yet but that's just my thinking right now. I really need to write it all out and play through it with a clear head to figure out how much more is needed.
Anyway there's another week or two before I need to make any final decisions there. So far Lisa's caught up with almost everyone at the party, met some new people, been hit on by one and some choices are now available that pertain to whether or not Danny stays at the party. What I'm working on right now is Gina finally "coming up" on the Ecstasy (rendered this one out just for this post because I liked her expression a lot lol!), others at the party are also starting to take some and soon Lisa will have the choice on whether to join them or not.
This is all leading into the real exciting parts of the party, starting with Gina's game.
I'm not sure exactly how much I've talked about the details of Gina's game in the past but I'll go through some of my thinking today and you guys can let me know what you think! ^_^
So, I figured everyone likes truth or dare scenarios. I do anyway, it's an exciting and easy way to get some taboo fun on the table but then I thought that's a bit vanilla so what else could be done.. some sexy outfits or something? That'd be cool but how could these two things be incorporated together at a party? What if someone brought a game?
The basic premise of the game is it's 3 stages with each stage raising the stakes a little in terms of how daring the content of each card is.
There's a question master who is in control of the cards, the cards dictate the truth and dare questions so it takes the common issue of having to think of a dare to ask out of the equation while also leaving a lot of room to play with as a developer.
So let's take a few examples of potential questions:
Stage 1:
Truth: Do you find the person on your right/left attractive?
-Something a little spicy without much consequence, could be humorous or could increase the temperature a little.
Dare: Sit on the lap of the person opposite you for thirty minutes.
-Again nothing too extreme but I guess that depends on who's sitting opposite Lisa!
Stage 2:
Truth: How many sexual partners have you had?
-You can imagine that Lisa answering this truthfully has some baggage with it, even if you're on the Sharing route, if Lisa answers more than one then Jo would likely have some questions because as far as she's concerned; Lisa lost her virginity to Danny and is still with Danny.
Dare: Take your underwear off and give it to the person to your right until the end of the game.
-This wouldn't be so bad if Lisa wasn't wearing a fairly short dress and if coupled with the example in Stage 1 it becomes a little wild.
Stage 3:
Truth: What type of porn did you last masturbate to?
-We have a couple of examples in game of the type of porn Lisa prefers but would she admit something like this to a group?
Dare: Wear outfit "X"
-Given it's Stage 3 of the game, these outfits are sure to be revealing to say the least.

These are just some ideas off the top of my head, the lap dare will definitely be included. I think this event is all in all a winner if I execute it well which I'm fairly confident in doing. My only concern is how varied it's to be in the final iteration. Say Lisa does the dare in the Stage 1 example, some players may choose not to. Already we have a huge increase in renders and that's one dare :d I'll figure it out as we go anyway, I'm not at Gina's game yet but I just wanted to give some insight into what exactly it is ^_^!
One final thing I wanted to touch on a bit is the release schedule that I've agreed to which is monthly releases until the end of Jayce's Party; in hindsight I really think this was a mistake so I'm going to re-evaluate things after the next release. I just didn't want to leave you all with nothing for several months but perhaps I should've bit the bullet a bit and waited for more impactful updates overall. I don't mind releasing patches in small chunks like this personally but what isn't pleasant is that it's clearly aggravated some players.
I understand completely that it's frustrating to download the game and it not have the things you wanted but I honestly can't work any faster. The party is the biggest scene I've ever worked on by a substantial margin and it introduces so many new characters that it was making my head spin to begin with. I've mentioned before that even saving the files individually can take up to several minutes each and every image has to be saved so I can reference them when I batch render overnight / during work hours. I typically light each character with 3 lights; a key light, a fill light and a rim/back light so say there's 7 characters in a single shot, that can be up to 21 lights that all have to be previewed and adjusted to fit the shot. For this set I never render more than 3 characters per image, most of the time it's only 2 especially if the HDRI is in view (in the 3 previews there are 11 renders total though 1 was unnecessary). Then factor in the fact that each character has to be believably posed and the time taken for producing CGs in a set of this size quickly skyrockets. For reference; the party's save files alone amount to just shy of 50gb disk space already which is well over the size of the entire Camping Trip's files both routes (38.7gb) and I haven't even started Gina's game yet.
I know I've said this before but there isn't a delay in development because I want there to be, this whole process just takes time and this particular set was always gonna be a long one, I knew that long before I started.
The only reason I'm mentioning all of this is because it feels absolutely horrible when players insinuate that I'm "lazy" when I spend nearly every available second working on Lisa.
Anyway it was just sitting at the back of my mind for a while now and I felt the need to address it, I hope I didn't sour the tone of the post too much ^_^ Well I gotta start moving things into RPGM for a February release very soon so I'm not sure how much of Phase 3 I can even finish in Daz before then. Ideally I'd like to finish Phase 3 before releasing another patch but I don't think there's enough time. I have a surgery (it's a local anesthetic not a general, it isn't serious so don't worry) at the beginning of March and I'm staying at home for a couple of days afterward so it has to be uploaded before then ^_^
Aaand I think that's all for today! Now that I've talked about Gina's game a bit I'm running out of talking points for Jayce's Party updates lol! I'm gonna have to start telling you guys about what new meals I've been cooking during the week or something instead! ^_^
