I think maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the fact, that nothing about the "offending" fetish is talked about openly on the Patreon page - I don't know of course, just rambling.
But to counter that eventuality I have someone working on a website where this project can migrate to if it should become a problem. The only issue on the personal site would be the inability for supporters to help me financially. I'll cross that bridge when I get there which I hopefully will not.
But yeah, as I stated earlier it was a planned surprise, that got sprung a little earlier than it was ... well ... planned

If I'm honest, I'm pretty disappointed
I understand that it kinda kills these characters for some. But for people like me who can live with that taboo sacrifice of Mary and at least one sister, i'd say i'm pretty excited. I mean, the story was already pretty interesting. And now it opens whole new path of finding his real relatives. Also, it's not exactly killing "the whole incest aspect of the game". Yes, i know Mary raised him as her own and his real mom (and others?) might be a complete stranger(s). But this aspect will still be here. Just not how we all expected it to unfold. And, depending on what happens next, we still might see some internal struggle.
I am reminded of the old calypso about the kid who wants a wife and his father keep telling him "That girl is your sister but your mama don't know..."
in the last update we can "let mom go", so maybe..
