This game was my most favourite and am truly disappointed that this got abandoned and that no one has even wanted to take and light up the torch and continue with the development. It is extremely sad to see this game die and wither away. There are also many more but few mentions would be The Gift Reloaded, Reluctant Archon, Rainy Day, Reincarnotica, Exiles, Dr Amana sexual therapist, off the records, Estate Dominate, Love and submission, Chains of Pleasure, Lord of Imagination ..... Just to name the best of the best. Truly sad story.

Well, DAST was never really abandoned, but RomanHume just had too much of a workload IRL to make any progress. He's now working with Meepish who is the main lead in continuing development. But ofc you can read about all of that if you haven't already over on that game's thread.

Apparently Cedsense did still care enough to prevent the reboot, which may indicate he might want to resume development at some point in time.

But all what we can do at this point is wait. I'm past the hope phase, honestly. But who knows...

Even if they share the same story, Lost at Birth is not even close, Our Fate impresses me because it tells us a great story and it's one of the few games on F95 that still captivates me even if it doesn't have pornography.

The only similarities it has in story is that the MC didn't know he has a daughter. The rest is nothing like our fate. If anything it's more like a porn script than an actual story. The way they wrote the daughters character and the MC is just.. I have no words for it. Like I said, porn script

I really can't forget the daughter in Our Fate, she is so cute, innocent, pure as an angel, I like her too much!

That would be the hope, but it's now been nearly 4 years. I can't imagine anything that would indicate he'll be back. And, even if he were to come back, at this point the renders are a bit dated. I love the daughter's appearance, but technology has come a decent ways since these models were used. I would assume there would be updates to those (for instance, more realistic skin), so this might take considerable work to continue. But I doubt it will happen, so that's neither here nor there really.

A bit of an aside,

I feel like the Photo Hunt Developer has been changing some of their models in such a way that you really hardly notice... it's like you know it's different, but it still looks the same if that makes sense. I think he just redid the sister recently.

It's like that old urban legend (not sure if it's true) about a website (facebook maybe?) that first tried to change the background color (like from beige to white) and everyone got upset. So instead they changed it a tiny bit each day, such a small amount that nobody noticed, and then over time it ended up where they wanted and nobody complained.

I feel like that's what Moochie is doing with some of the characters in Photo Hunt. It's like they're getting more photorealistic over time, but never with enough of a jump that you can put your finger on the change.

Not the same as what we were talking about, but it reminded me of it.

theres only one way we get to see the father and daughter again and thats if someone will make a remake.
unfortunately v19 tried that but the DEV stopped that. just to vanish again.
I hope someone else will try again, because the new game from v19 is not the same. its yet another flully story.
the original did have a much better corruption base and thats what I liked about it.

honestly i'm glad cedsense stopped him. while v19 makes awesome visuals, the writers he hired for lost at birth are aweful (quality and taste)

I disagree about the writers of Lost at Birth being awful, but it's definitely a story with a completely different feeling, so overall I agree with this statement.
