Really liking this game, but damn, the MC is such a moron sometimes. When I wish there is a choice, there isn't and he just thinks something completely moronic, lol.

So I understand that if a developer is active on Patreon for 5 years but doesn't add any update to the game, that game still won't get the "Abandoned" tag, right?

Here I think there needs to be an 18 month gap from the last update (with out posting any previews or update logs anywhere) the AVN is considered abandoned. I think the last update was 15 months ago? roughly around that. However, this dev has always taken a long ass time to release an update. Would have been better if they chopped each episode into parts - So one part every few months. That would be more palatable for folk.

The abandoned tag gets applied if
- The dev hasn't communicated anything about the game for 3 months in all his platerforms ( Patreon, Itch.io, Twitter...)
- Or if the dev is still talking about it but goes on for 18 months without any update .
Az is still posting reports & previews almost every months and the last update was released in February 2022, so he's got until August.

Abandoned tag or not, this game is vaporware. In the last 25 months, the dev has released 1 (one) update! The last time I played it (EP8), the story was still in its introductory phase. This thing is never getting finished at its current pace, and by the looks of it, the developer is in no hurry to switch things up. Two words -- wasted potential -- since this game could've been up there with the most successful titles.

It's true, even today, it's still a game with a lot of potential. Too bad that azrd79 put so much pressure on himself to make the game, last time he released the Episode 9 there were comments/messages of the dev that he was very stressed at the time of making it. Sad that it ended like this.
Supposedly Episode 10 should release next week, but I guess we'll see. I'm hoping that episode 10 at least has some real action with Emily, since it might be another 2 years before we see another episode after that. Only just discovered this game and I couldn't help but get drawn into the story.
I really like the characters and the story.
