Also, yes, it has been discussed in "length" this is a bug fest and should have the "error" tag. Use non-stop mode with the "band-aid" fix I linked to or shit try the one patch one post up. "Stop-mode" is bugged, but with the various fixes mentioned non-stop mode will get through the game. Stop mode is for side stories and I think there is literally one side story, so you won't miss much.
