After about 8 loops I'm discovering just how grindy this game is. It's nice to get a new scene at the beginning and end of each loop, but doing same thing over and over in between is getting boring already. I've only just unlocked the bots upgrade and have not gotten a xeta 1 level for any of them except for Lexxx, who is maxed already even though she's not even my bot. Game is intriguing, but the pace could use some work imo.

You basically just outed yourself as not playing it very well lol. What you have described here is a user issue not a game issue.

That's fair, but it would be helpful to have some in-game hints as to what the heck we're supposed to do when we get stuck. Not sure how that would (or even if it could) be implmented, but it is definitely possible for the game loop to get un-fun if you aren't careful.

Obviously one solution is "just be careful", but I kinda just want to play the game and enjoy the story & imagery, y'know?

The main hint for this game is pick one girl to focus on for each loop. You don’t have to do every scene with the same girl, but if you choose to do most scenes in the loop with, say, Emily, you’ll be able to take her to prom and get a zeta, unlocking more content with her in future loops.

There are in game hints in the gallery plus there is the official guide.

how ? Thanks to deep-learning processes, some trained models can interpolate "fake" frames next to native frames.
The result gives a smooth effect on each animations.


Disclaimer: this game contains a lot of animations with very low framerates (below 20 fps , sometimes even 8fps)
Although interpolation can be most of the time very effective, it doesn't work miracles so the chances that you'll notice interpolation artifacts are high.
Also a few animation remained untouched because very-low fps + fast camera movements = impossible to enhance
