Long ago I tried to mod another Unity game here to make my own scenes and use the models from the game I wanted the most. Basically everyone in internet says you need the source code, aka being the developer. That you can't do anything with the final game.
Blizzard wanted to remove the SFM porn from the internet and they failed so I don't think Red would get far in that regard.
So it's a bad engine if you want people to make mods for your game. Well thats a shame cause I wanted to learn to code in that.

This remins me that Redamz has many more Apprentices. Monster Girl Tailes can be another example. In the past, dev was in contact with Redamz and "borrowed" some assets from him. After 6 years, the game is still Prototype, maybe "Demo" and dev balancing between Lazy Development and Abandoned tag. His whole Patreon is about everything (im)possible, other stuff, his life, other side projects made with publishers.but ..You need to believe ... and pay as much as possible.

Tbh I don't think we can add more stuff about Red. We can only hope that somebody else will make a similar game and make it better and not focus on the "story". But from what I've seen on here most people who were working on a remake are no longer here so I think the game has a weird curse on it or something.

hth studio from crow duke nukem for ever maybe its making the complity changes and not going with the first vision engine or what ever with crow its the darn starting new with unity and duke changed game engine like 3 or more times and it endid a crap game becuz of that
