Oh shit a Hige game got translated. These GPT translations have been pretty good, there's some awkwardly written sentences here and there but for the most part its about as good as an amateur fan-translator attempt.

most mtl are fine i mean yeah there are clear spelling errors etc but usually unless its really bad
you can understand what the game is about i really dont need a perfect translation im fine with being able to understand the plot not really a high bar to clear even for mtl i played many mtl games and rarely do i understand nothing
just like how its possible to read bad grammar on the internet

almost like... translations exists for people who doesnt know language. No one ever would tell you that decent manual translation better than mtl, but a lot of translators nowadays dont translate but whine about "How game that they worked so earnestly for about half a day got mtld so they wont translate anything anymore". So now we have alternative that as you said seems fine and these chatgpt translation even more so.

i think its fine because the purpose of language is too convey meaning
the meaning here being the story so who cares if they aren't completely 100% grammatically correct
its a free game also how do you know if as you stated yourself you dont speak the langauge ether

also i dont think its fine but given there isnt any other alternative because adult games are a niche already
and finding actual translation companies like kagura is even rarer expecting everything to be translated by a handful of people is completely unrealistic
also there is also this brilliant option of just ignoring mtl threats if it offends you this badly

It's not just an issue with grammar. Like you know how in English, some words are spelled the same way but have different meanings? What a rough MTL tries to do is spit out a "translation" of what it thinks is the most likely the correct word or phrase in a context and string them together. You'll get mistakes like "daughter" when the more appropriate translation would be "girl/young woman" (that's not necessarily anyone's child in the context of the story or conversation) or issues where the MTL doesn't realize that it's a proper noun and instead breaks down the "words" that comprise the name into their "translations" and attempt to rewrite the sentence in a way that "makes sense", throwing the whole thing off. Then ChatGPT comes along and tries to sand down everything into a smooth sentence, so you never realize the entire sentence was wrong to begin with. One sentence isn't too big of an issue, but a constant stream of mistakes throughout the whole game can throw off the entire story. You could be getting the Kung Pow experience without even knowing it.
Like it's alright if you have absolutely no standards when it comes to language, but other people do.

All h-scenes are optional and you can usually tell early on in the chain of events which character it focuses on. I'd consider it more of an upside to have a few different characters, especially if you can skip characters you don't like for the most part.I MTooled this back in the day. I did enjoy this game for what I can recall.
I've always found the quality of the CG's to be quite nice for this author. Games generally have a decent amount of them too. And generally his games also contain multiple female characters that get scenes.
Downside to many of his games is that they generally contain at least 1 loli-style character.
Gameplay wise though ... well ... you ain't here for that.

Honestly I'll take MTL over the shitty porn writing in so many western games. Getting only the gist of the situation is preferable to having my bones ejected from my body from cringe.
