Ahhh, Is it more grindy?

Considerably. Before all you really had to do was catch a female, knock her up, level her up and release her then repeat. Every subspecies (male/futa/female) would all increase in rank. Now they're all separate and have to be leveled individually and increasing the rank seems to so far be less impactful than before as everything is allowed to spawn with higher level traits at the starting essence level. On top of that, it isn't explained how to increase the level anywhere in the game.

anyone figure out the incubus essence 3 req? I've tried Juicy, Hung, Meaty, Charmer, Hedonist.... I guess my next route is nympho, but i doubt it. I'm starting to hear that squishy sound from beating my head against the wall...... owie. (lol)

Gizuz Krust this game manages to multiply the grind on every update by an absurd amount of levels. Wonder how long it would take for him to break his entire playerbase by keeping up that way

I do think at its core its a better system, just needs the in game explanation and have more impact. Having it reflect what you just did would make the most sense.
Rank 2 would raise the base stat ranks of that species globally (EEE foxen becomes DDD foxen)
Rank 3 would boost the odds of seeing rank 2 traits in the wild for that species
Rank 4 higher levels globally
Rank 5 would boost the odds of seeing rank 3 traits

The game also needs to add complimentary systems for improving the MC, stuff to spend cash on other than barns like maybe a gym for the MC to get traits at for a cost.
Minor but the daily breeding task thing needs some tweaking, it only seems ask for mid-end game stuff.

there aren't any benefits, the system is pretty dumb you can go through the game completly ignoring essence mechanics. its just a completionist thing i guess? oh the random spwans will have slightly higher level traits

I'm running an older version, 07569A, are there still cheat codes? Also will my previous saves work on the newest version or do I have to restart? Asking since I want 1 save for "sandbox mode" and 1 save to actually play the game through.

Also are there different cloth options for the characters besides the default?

I tried a gameplay yesterday on the last version before the UI overhaul and IDK why hut I keep getting crashes when I do certain things. Not sure why but *Sigh* Guess I just lost the motivation to play this. Even sandbox saves of sorts malfunction so whats the point? Progress wont be saved across versions, the grind would multiply on each update and the problems on the game's biases are starting to become far too big for the low experience its delivering. Time to get back at making Skyrim my monsterwaifu simulator.... No wait, it already was? Hehe

The current state of BoN, the closest thing to an end goal (last I remember) is breading the perfect demon just to brag to the queen of hell. anything past that are personal goals

Alot of people right now are revisiting the game because a youtuber speed ran an old version where all he did was open all the gates and do the key quests.

Nothing yet tangible, currently just there for something resembling a goal. Future updates might make it part of the main story, cause currently the only thing to work towards otherwise is opening up the cockblock gates but that still doesn't feel right.

Considering saves break on update there's kinda no point in even worrying about it right now, we've only been focusing on it just to figure how it even works since there's no in game description lmfao.

Length of dev time isn't really a factor, especially with essentially a solo dev with contracted helpers. You say its a broken game but I haven't noticed any game breaking bugs or even crashed which is more then I can say for some fully released games lmfao.

Ah yes, please disregard the fact that the orc was asking for a futa with non-dormant fertile trait. And the "bugfix" didn't solve the problem if you already had accepted the quest. You can say a lot of good things about this game, but please do not fanboy over it, it doesn't do anyone a favor.
