I really like this game. The Stardew Valley style is very good. Love the daily movement of the village, love the quests, absolutely love the monthly updates. Loved the option for instant text too. Almost everything is going great.
But there is one constant problem, the grind. Every time this game is mentioned in other places, the insane grind is always a main point of criticism.
I believe the game would be significantly improved if experience was available in combat. As well as the irritating miss chance that only serves to unnecessarily prolong the battle. I understand that fighting is not the main point here, but the sandbox element of exploration and (very) slow relationship grow. No one is playing WaB for the encounters, so why make the combat so obnoxious?
Another exaggerated requirement is grinding for the professions. Overall to improve time and reduce grind, I believe granting 2 points should be the minimum instead of 1 for any activity. This alone would significantly improve the time required to improve your stats, instead of forcing the player to perform the same action repeatedly for hours.
Exactly, the grinding is horrendous, now I'm thinking in getting RPG Maker and see if I can get the game files decrypted, and figure out the mechanics, in order to reduce the absurd grinding to a something more normal, as example, the relationship with Astra starts at
-20, yep, you read it right,
MINUS TWENTY, and any interaction grants a point, some other gives 2 or 3 and some interactions that are quest related, thus hard to come by, gives ten points, and apparently the minimun for good interaction is around 30 or so, so we're talking that alt least you need to interact with her FIFTY times in order to get a positive interaction with her
Not gonna lie, the game has gorgeous artwork, but at this rate it should change its name to
gay butt-fucks and boobs
How so?? you will ask yourself, simple, the amount of trans characters (because the're not FUTA AT ALL) and butt fuck content is far greater than the amount of content with real females, as simple as that, and the amount of gay content is high as well, and if you set the game to NO GAY content, you will be staring at black screens with some "descriptive sex scene text" way too many times
Thing is, since the Devs decided to follow the "majorities vote" the game went down the drainage, and now is... well... what we have as game, furthermore, the game is being developed in the Old RPG MAker VX Ace, which has not seen any updates since October, 2016 as per Steam's webpage, heck I'm even thinking on finding a way to port it to RPG Maker MV or the newest RPG MAker MZ and fix some of the bugs i've found during gameplay
