I think the more appropriate way of describing it is that there is not not a harem route right now.

I haven't played the game yet but for you'd there a chance to have a harem route?I think the more appropriate way of describing it is that there is not not a harem route right now.
So far there's an harem route without an harem.
You can have everyone, you can have threesomes and etc, but still isn't confirmed if there will be an harem ending.
For now it's possible to ignore the harem setup and go for a single LI route if you wish and avoid all the other LI, that's how i play Ripples personnally with having a save for each different LI.

Right now you only have to choose one time between two possible LIs, which doesn't stop the MC from hooking up every other girl in the game.
I have a question on how can i continue from the 6 chapter as i have completed 5 previous chapters but my laptop got formatted due to unexpected failure so how can i start from the 6th chapter?? Can anyone please help me in this? Thank you!!

Just set unseen text on in settings and CTR to skip. Really doesn't take that long.

Even easier press tab and it will skip without holding ctrl button

So, I take it your savegames are all gone? Then you would either have to download one form somewhere or - and that would be the way I would recommend - go under "options" in the game and set "unseen text" under "skip".
Now you can pretty much hold control to skip quickly through the game, take the decisions you originally took during your first playthrough (or correct them if you didn't like them) until you reach episode 6 and then play normally from then on.

there's another method too, you need to right click the skip button and it will take you to the next choice you have to make.
I loved the boop. Had to laugh so hard. The whole scene is great but can be easily missed (which is part of the fun).

There does seem to be a sweet spot for number of LIs. 5-8 seems to work best in terms of fleshing them out into distinct characters. Too many and they just become cardboard cutouts with tropes and just become a checklist of characters to see lewd scenes of. Too few and you lack variety of choice. I think there should be more games where if you choose one LI it blocks off others or if you attempt to woo multiple it can cause severe problems or even a bad end. It would increase the replay factor in these games in order to see different choices and consequences instead of there typically being one optimal path to see all content.Could be, when I played OiaL I didn't knew Ripples yet (outside of the fact, that the game existed), so I wouldn't have recognized her.
I'm moving this dialogue over, since it is more about Ripples at this point, so the mods might delete it otherwise.
Well, to be fair: That it is a Time Travel story only becomes clear later.
I think originally it was more the art style that put me off. I remember playing the beginning and Darci just looked...weird. If I understand this correctly Ep. 1 was "remaster" (?), so that might have helped me to get over the art style in a 2nd attempt. Darci's lower arms and hands still look weird though.
I honestly think the number of women in the game has become somewhat of a problem for the game, because it prevents the story from focusing on a more selective group of them. By now (I'm now in the middle of Ep. 5) it also feels like the MC is just walking from sex scene to sex scene, especially since most of the girls only appear in solo scenes (outside of like Krystal and Daphne). I know, that is also a bit of a weird critic for a porn VN, but I kinda inevitable compare Ripples to other quality VNs like Eternum, PC etc. since that were it stands in the weighted ratings. And most of these games have either a smaller cast (PC), a more structured cast as in clear main LIs and clear side LIs (OiaL) or the cast is closer together as a group, so LIs often appear in the same scenes together, giving them all time to grow (Eternum).
I joked about Ripples not having the harem tag, because at that point I (seemingly) had to decide between Jessica and Skylar and I thought that was the starting point of the game putting more of a focus on individual LIs. Only for Skylar do disappear from the game and the MC pretty much starting two other romances with Jenny and Alyssa.
Maybe it will change later down the line I don't know how large this game is supposed to become, but some characters like Daphne or Janelle really don't seem to serve much of a purpose storywise.
