I believe you mean Jessica*, and to answer your question, neither path closes permanently regardless of who you choose. The only big difference is who you go after first, and in the case of picking Skylar, Jessica will be upset for a bit, and will act coldly towards you until a certain point where she will finally accept it. At the end of the day, you miss out on certain Jessica stuff by picking Skylar and vice versa. So if you want both just choose who you prefer more of the two.
If you've already played through to the point of completing the Jessica photoshoot, then you already know she's starting to warm up to you again and has accepted your relationship with Skylar. Now we just got to wait until we can finally start on Jessica's path again. Maybe the next update or two?

Hey guys, I updated my Hidden Render guide. I choose to remove the screenshots for each render since Jestur added a dedicated gallery for Hidden Renders. So all the fat has been trimmed for this guide from here on out. I could add the source images if you'd guy would like. Hope you guys enjoyed this update as much as I did!! Enjoy!

Thanks, (fixed the J name) that's what I figured it was a detour not a hard close. Skylar was my first choice, so I saw how Jessica was still distant, but warming up, so went back and saw the tanning oil + raunchy photo session. Finished the update. Seemed to add more mystery boxes than it opened, which is fine for now, but we need to start getting some reveals and resolutions or this could go on for ever and become anemic. But will definitely look forward to chapter 7!

Hard to say, but even if he's goofing around, Carla has resemblance with Tiffany, not Valerie. It's mostly because of the same hair.I'm actually not sure if he is joking or serious.

I think originally it was more the art style that put me off. I remember playing the beginning and Darci just looked...weird. If I understand this correctly Ep. 1 was "remaster" (?), so that might have helped me to get over the art style in a 2nd attempt. Darci's lower arms and hands still look weird though.
I honestly think the number of women in the game has become somewhat of a problem for the game, because it prevents the story from focusing on a more selective group of them. By now (I'm now in the middle of Ep. 5) it also feels like the MC is just walking from sex scene to sex scene, especially since most of the girls only appear in solo scenes (outside of like Krystal and Daphne). I know, that is also a bit of a weird critic for a porn VN, but I kinda inevitable compare Ripples to other quality VNs like Eternum, PC etc. since that were it stands in the weighted ratings. And most of these games have either a smaller cast (PC), a more structured cast as in clear main LIs and clear side LIs (OiaL) or the cast is closer together as a group, so LIs often appear in the same scenes together, giving them all time to grow (Eternum).
I joked about Ripples not having the harem tag, because at that point I (seemingly) had to decide between Jessica and Skylar and I thought that was the starting point of the game putting more of a focus on individual LIs. Only for Skylar do disappear from the game and the MC pretty much starting two other romances with Jenny and Alyssa.
Maybe it will change later down the line I don't know how large this game is supposed to become, but some characters like Daphne or Janelle really don't seem to serve much of a purpose storywise.

PC is more based on characters development, how the relation between all the characters evolve and in a sense the relationships between the characters have more "depth" than in Ripples (doesn't mean Jestur doesn't provide depth within his characters development or anything but with the large cast you can't spend as much time with one specific character/LI like you can in PC for example, that's just mathematic)
The point I do agree is that for now, I can see why you said that all the LI doesn't participate actively in the "main storyline" like you could see in Eternum and I could see why you said that you're just seeing the "MC walking around from sex scene to sex scene" but what I know is that the LI will definitly play a more major role later on (

Don't worry about that, I also didn't like Darci at start, it was actually one of the reasons I didn't pay much attention to this game at first until I gave it another chance. She ended up growing on me, although her relationship with the MC still is odd with me. They aren't in a relationship but in the same time they are ok with all that? Still feels strange. But she's a cool character. I still prefer others over her though, specially Jessica and Tiffany. Skylar I also like but last update made me be one step behind, it really depends on her reasons on future updates (I don't wanna to be more specific or I would spoil you).

That's why I would think that focusing on fewer characters would've benefitted the game, but of course I don't know where he is going with all those characters. Right now quite a number of them feel like Rebecca from OiaL, not a bad character per se, but not doing anything for the larger story.

And yes, she's a bit annoying, but as I mentioned, she grew on me. It is noticeable that she has a good heart in the end, although she's extremely hyperactive.
I just hope we have something for Alice cooked in the future, she's the type of "active" girl I like. Sporty, outspoken, but still ladylike with her charm.
