persistent is not about savegames - it's about general variables like names and so on.or just persistent.
Mostly you don't even need persistent file for import. The savegame should be enough

yea but removing persistent on appdata and saves is good thing to let game "forget" some things while keeping saves.persistent is not about savegames - it's about general variables like names and so on.

as far as i know, local save in game folder has prio over appdata. I always copy the local game folder save and overrule appdata.has or had, if \appdata has save named same as in \saves then appdata is prior 1 even if \saves has newer date.
dunno if it got changed or not but in past appdata had prior1 so if edited save then needed to have it named differently than originally to get edits into game.as far as i know, local save in game folder has prio over appdata. I always copy the local game folder save and overrule appdata
i am pretty sure that local has prio - but best practise: just delete appdata and rely on local savesdunno if it got changed or not but in past appdata had prior1 so if edited save then needed to have it named differently than originally to get edits into game.
well those RENPY games i play have appdata\roaming\renpy and unity games have appdata\local if saves aren't in game folder.i am pretty sure that local has prio - but best practise: just delete appdata and rely on local saves
Why i am sure? -> there are games which don't even have appdata files!
and why i know that here are games without appdata?well those RENPY games i play have appdata\roaming\renpy and unity games have appdata\local if saves aren't in game folder.
and after you delete the games once they are finished, all the savegame trash is still stored there forever.Personally I prefer it when apps store their settings in their own folders. That is why I use portable apps as much as possible. Easier to backup and reinstall.
Actually that ending wasn't planned. During beta testing, i felt that such an ending should be a good idea and i talked to Dots that much and so long until he agreed - so that ending has been implemented within the very last second. So it's one of the reason, the game release has been delayed. (actually, the game had to be delayed anyways for other reason, but that delay made it possible to get the bad harem ending into the game)
MC's fianceewhoa its already completed, also i kinda forgot who is nicole? haha
Well, seems like deleting the savegames from %appdata% doesn't harm anything. The exact files seemed to exist inside the game folder, at a cursory glance, and they seem to load just fine. I like it when things are in one place.and after you delete the games once they are finished, all the savegame trash is still stored there forever.
That's why i even consider to script a cronjob deleting my appdata files on a daily base in general. No one needs them
those are same saves, in appdata saves are as backup if deletes game folder saves.Well, seems like deleting the savegames from %appdata% doesn't harm anything. Yeah that's what I thought. Timestamps are the same, sizes are the same. I didn't do a checksum verification but yeah...those are same saves, in appdata saves are as backup if deletes game folder saves.
well depending renpy version times and dates can be same on every save (try figuring out then what's latest save and what not).Yeah that's what I thought. Timestamps are the same, sizes are the same. I didn't do a checksum verification but yeah...
I answered this for you where you asked in another thread.Hi, can someone please tell me.... how do I hide spoiler text in a post?
