the gates are closed, from this picture i believe you will understand now, not exactly all the way to ur left, the gate are the ones that are closed looking like a jail cell. You have to progress further to unlock it and head out to the cafe.

At the start when Therese uses her scan magic, I said "no" to humiliation, then in the next scene is humiliation stuff. Were those options a trap? Am I supposed to say the opposite of what I want to see? I really don't want to run into farting piss or scat after saying no to all three.

You need to progress main story more, i can tell you haven't finished it because you are missing a lot of NPC, that's how you open that gate.

What do you mean, the game won't let you continue after you finish the last mission on phone? There is a lot of content after that.

that scene is just for fun, the actual content filters are different. you can talk to the fat weeb ghost near the start if you wanna change those.
