You can transfer your saves. In the HELP FILES folder there is a text document showing how to transfer saves.

Damn that means I would've needed to keep the old folder. Shit. Assuming there's not another place it saves like renpy and the user folder.

Also a v16 save is somewhere in the thread, just search.

Here's a text box mod -- very simple. Changed opacity down to 20% so you can see through it.
