You obviously don't know that he celebrate not in decmeber like us but instead in January.
And we all know that he will resume the work in February.
You need perspective. Would you rather have small updates per month for 4 months, or 1 big update every 4 months? Here is the perspective, it is still the same amount of content either way. Monthly updates doesn't necessarily mean more content.

Not to mention montly update takes more time to be done.After all you always have to do somthings several times instead of just once.
Like you can use a pass for tennis club in 2 ways.
4 times 1 hour
1 time 4 hours
First case you will need 4 times to go to the tennis club,4 times to change,4 times to do some stretching,4 times after that to shower etc.
so he will release an update and retire or he will release after the break?
