lol that would explain it. MotH does NOT use Ren'py like these right-click mouse games do. It uses Unity. To save your game in MotH open the phone in the lower left and click the down arrow to save.
And please use the MotH thread for further MotH help/questions. heh, glad you caught it because I was about to say if all games are doing it, sounds like a Ren'py issue, not a game issue.

I keep coming back and looking at this, but I still haven't downloaded it. I can't get past the title. On the one hand, I have to admit, it's a cute catchy little title. Certainly, it has my attention, but it also kind of bugs me. Obviously, it's taken from the saying, "HOME is where the heart is." So, I first expected incest based on the title. Once I saw that it was not incest, I realized that may be the very point of the title. After all, the point of the saying is that you can feel that sense of home anywhere you get comfortable enough. Now, I feel like the title is basically saying, "as long as these people are 'like family' to you, than it's basically the same thing as incest or at least just as good..."
I play lots of games that have no incest at all. I agree, not every game needs to be about incest. In fact I'd say there are some which ARE incest, and would be better off without it! To give a game a title, however, that sounds like, "it's just as good as real incest ... really, trust me!" It just kind of feels like a slap in the face, or possibly the author saying "someone please make me an incest patch, because Patreon hates artistic freedom."
So, I'm not exactly saying "WE MUST HAVE AN INCEST PATCH," but I am saying that is an odd title which immediately creates both a sense of intrigue & allure and a sense of confusion & disappointment for me. Also, I hope that the author is at least aware that "my family is dead, so I live with close family friends" has basically become an incest-dodge running gag in the AVN community. If that really just is the story they wanted to tell, then I feel bad for them, because the incest patch requests are never going to go away for long with a premise like that.

It's been about a year since I last read/played this one... And back then it showed promise... Well I can definitely say now, it is an incredibly awesome and fun visual novel to read and play... It had be smiling a majority of the time, along with other emotions here and there... I felt so totally invested into the story and characters, and dialogue/monologue... It has a few quirks, but I still thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough, and I'm hungry for more... I was truly falling in love with some of these characters, which is the kind of emotional investment I want from a good erotic visual novel with well written story... Sure there are a few cliché moments and lots of sarcasm like humor, but it worked so well for this one... Do not go into this VN thinking it's gonna be back to back sexual encounters with the primary characters, because it's a slow paced relationship building romance with the main women characters... There are some lust interests as well... Most of the characters are diverse in their personalities and feel well put together... I played this one practically non-stop from the beginning of chapter 1 to the end of chapter 11, with maybe a 15 minute food break, because I was so invested into what was going on, building the relationships I wanted to build...
Anyhooo, I would definitely recommend this one to any one who likes a story rich and fun relationship building visual novel with just the right amount of everything... This is definitely in my top 5 right now, if I had a top 5 list...

That what a mod does can change the story... no there will never be a patch because incest was never part of this story... but that is just technicality speak... some people see a mod the same as a patch when referring to them...

Exactly! A lot of the plot doesn't make sense any more as an incest game. It would take a helluva lot of modifications to the source code to make this an incest game. And it would have to be updated with each release.

Updating it wouldn't be complicated. I'm not sure how much of an overhaul it'd take (other than all the "Monica" references changed to "Mom") I actually been doing something with this a bit... Testing my changes to ep1-3 right now as a matter of fact

is there anyway, using either the console or the developer menu, that I can create a darker background for the text?
is it normal that jenna's skin color is sometimes white and most of the times grey? plz help or im going to get my eyes checked
