Devs made over $300,000 for this update just to put it into perspective.

It honestly boggles my mind people are willing to give so much money to Patreon devs for very very little in return, even the totally garbage games that have no chance of ever being completed still can make 5k+/month.

It's easy money, if i'm raking in $54,000/month what incentive do i have to actually complete a game or do anything but the bare minimum to keep that going?

is this game more RPG style where you can do everything in one run through/ go back to do things you missed or is it one of the games where you can miss stuff if you don't use a walkthrough or do multiple run-throughs?

I don't know how may of you work in a IT related job where you create and design software but after years evolving a project redoing large parts of it always creates tremendous problems. And the argument "he gets x amount each month that should speed it up" is simply wrong. At a certain stage in development adding more people to a project just further delays it.
Also insulting does not help motivation. If you really want the project to prosper create structurized feedback.

On a personal note I like that old content got redone. After playing through SS so many times it's refreshing not to wade through 100% known content to get a few new scenes.

Anyone else stuck in Jenny route where you can finally enter her computer?

I wait at night, see her Camslut profile, do the network mini-game and the MC said he can't wait to see her video at his computer. But then I'm stuck and nothing happens.

I've read that you're supposed to do the mini-game again on MC computer but when I click on the network icon on MC computer, a bug happens and it switch to Jenny's computer.

Anyone else had that problem?

that's not a bug, you are remote accessing her computer, go to her camslut profile and find her saved videos

And the argument "he gets x amount each month that should speed it up" is simply wrong. At a certain stage in development adding more people to a project just further delays it.

Except when it comes to QA. A project with this kind of resources(and time) should have no all-encompassing critical bugs(affecting everyone, and stopping progress). Most of these bugs should have been quite apparent early on in the progress tree as well, might have been more understanding if it was towards the end of a 30-point story line or requiring a very specific approach to occur.
Smiled when I found no player.get_money in the pizza minigame code and thought I'd screwed up when pasting something in, but nope the devs didn't add it. Meaning no one actually payed attention while(if) testing it after code change, that speaks volumes of the QA.

Thats true, but it may also cause them to just abandon the game if it becomes too unprofitable.

That's why I said a 25-33% drop in their income, not > 50% Just enough to raise some real alarms in their team.

Are you able to hit ignore? Usually when I get these errors in renpy i just skip or ignore. But if the coding is really bad somethings you are stuck and will have to load a previous save.

I hate when dev release their game update/fixes/patch like this, there's only few changes/addition but they didn't provide link for the update only, you must redownload the whole games.

For those who already download the 0.18.0 or 0.18.1 version of the game, here's the update for version 0.18.2 (for PC version only). so you don't have to redownload the whole games.

If it was done like you say, there won't be any need to replay it again for some new scenes, because the save game would be compatible. You know, like in all the other 99% of the games here.
But since they rework existing scenes -> bam, no compatibility.

Just for fun facts, here's what @Nenad A. is doing for his game, Willy D:
- save games are not compatible with the previous version, because of the engine he uses, Visionaire Studio. There's no way to overcome this at the moment.
- so what does he do ? HE REPLAYS THE GAME HIMSELF EVERY RELEASE. This means 2 paths (incest and non-incest), with a lot of collectibles and walking in the game and creates the save games himself so you're ready to play the new content instantly.
- releases are made every TWO WEEKS with enough content.
- if I were to count the content he puts EVERY 6 MONTHS, it puts to shame all that SS ever done.
- he's just ONE GUY. Actually no, he's one HELL OF A GUY and a pleasure to talk to him on his Discord.
- the game is at least at the same level as SS, if not better.
- he only has a few hundred patreons.

Yeah, people suck.

Ans if that doesn't work try the last save.

I tried that but now its just restarting the day all over again after i sleep. Conversations don't change either.

I guess that resources for the development of SS is going to their other project, Other developers have done the same thing and many more have cancelled or (tied out a quick ending) of the old project to focus on their new one.

Ok so their patch is out. I Have like 2 bug that stop my game and none are corrected. ok why not they may need more time and I still can play on other path. But come on this patch create new bugs that litteraly stop my every path my saves are broken.

- I play on cheat mode since I don't want to grind everything again and I'm stuck beacause I need to pay 500$ to have the roomate/sister teaching cheerleading to roxy but everytime he says I will come back when I have money (I have like almost 100 000) so roxy path blocked, brigett path blocked and siter path blocked
