On discord gumdrop only speaks to a number of supporters and only ever in private messages so as to avoid conflicting information. Anyone pledging over 50 dollars has been told September including my wife. No idea what the other tiers have been told. The guy is clearly conning everyone and him hiring people is just another excuse as to why it is delayed. And yes my wife is stupid and yes she should drop him but it's my money in her bank account I send her every month and if she wants to waste it on that twat then that's her choice.
By the way, do you have a femdom/denigration fetish?
Anyway, guess I was right with my prediction. There was never ANY reason to believe he did ANY work last year. Even if there is a release, I predict the game will be dead shortly afterwards (it already is for anyone with half a brain). He won't be able to reasonably justify his lies and delays among his scam victims anymore.
Plenty of naive people here who, even as they criticize the game, behave like delusional fanboys, like those who claim he is "just lazy" (being a scammer is not laziness), or that he did work last year but that he is milking (again makes no sense since money is already declining and there is NO EVIDENCE of work having been done at all).

lol, the game is over and the scam is now obvious. There is no "ball" anywhere anymore. Septempber, do you realize how crazy that is? he claimed he did work in 2018. It's completely unhinged to give this scammer any other chance.
A year of EVIDENCE FREE lies should have woken everyone up. But people here seem to really like this train wreck to go as far as denying reality.

That's his official stand in the public chatrooms on discord. However to high pledges he has told them different. From what my wife has said he has basically said as she is pledging high he wanted to be honest with her about release date so she is not wasting money thinking its soon. But then states if he tells everyone the same thing he could lose alot of support and that would delay it further as he could not afford his staff ( not even sure they exist tbh first mention of staff was months ago wouldn't suprise me if the staffs patreon sites where made by gumdrop tbh)
Okay, we get it. There are a few people who still believe in the project, and many people who think they are dumb for doing so. Do we really need 500 messages saying the same things?

Ask her why she supports him and what she thinks of all the lies, missed deadlines, etc. I'm genuinely curious how his patreon supporters rationalize all that and decide it's still worthwhile to give him money.

Well he has not exactly lied to her last year he said next year for update and suprise at Christmas. That happened exactly as he said and he has shown a few renders on his site. I honestly think she is just clinging to hope at this point. This is still her favourite game.

Does she seriously think this update is legitimately going to take Gumdrop 1.5 years to make and that he isn't milking or being lazy though? I just don't understand how anyone can rationalize giving him money anymore at this point, it's crazy.

Well he claims the update is huge even compressed estimates it will top 10gb. Now me I think he's full of shit but to others an update of that size depending on compression used could potentially take a year. However will be funny if update drops at 10gb and guys here compress it to say 2 lol

Man even if she's crazy/delusional enough to still believe Gumdrop at this point, she must know this game is broken up into 3 acts of 10 parts, and this is just one part of 10. Even if it's supposedly a huge update, if it ever does come out it will be full of filler and repetition, there's only so much he could do for a fucking high school dance lol. Assuming he isn't lying and it ever comes, It won't be content worth playing. I just really don't understand how people can be so delusional, especially over something like an incest porn game lol, but whatever I guess.

Not kidding, I graduated from highschoool and finished my first semester in university and this guy hasn't post any update during that time. I can't wait for when I graduate university to play I guess ???
